I'm not sure if you have seen this yet but Serebii posted what Zorua and Zoroarks' ability Illusion does.
The latest issue of Nintendo Dream has provided new insights into the special Illusion ability that Zoroark & Zorua both have. This ability, as we knew previously, allows for Zorua/Zoroark to be transformed into another Pokémon when sent into battle, as seen with the special event when you capture Zoroark. However, prior to now, the details of the ability were not known. We now know the details of this ability. The ability allows for Zorua & Zoroark to be in the form of the Pokémon in second place in your party at the time of it being sent out. This means that if you have say Jigglypuff in the front of your party, Zorua & Zoroark would appear in battle as a Jigglypuff. As we know from before, it keeps its Dark-type, but its appearance and name will match the Pokémon of which it has an Illusion.
In addition to those details, it provided a massive image of the Isshu region, showing more areas than the images so far. It doesn't provide new details but does show an airfield and speculates that there is an airport in the game and various places such as a theme park, windmills, ancient ruins and what they think is a blast furnace. I have added the image to our Pre-Release Picture page. Click the picture to go to our ability page
What are your thoughts on it?

This could be an interesting fake-out tactic; for example, you could have Croagunk in your second position, and when the opponent tries a psychic type move on Zoroarc it won't work, plus you now have a free move and type advantage. So my opinion: could be deadly in certain circumstances. I wouldn't be surprised if the champion has one, since it seems to work best in a mixed-type group of pokemon.

I have a couple of questions, though. What happens if you switch to Zoroark in the middle of the battle? Will it still transform into the second Pokemon, or just the one behind it in the lineup (and what if it IS the second Pokemon)? And if it's alone on a team, will it transform at all?

I'm not sure what would happen in the first scenario you brought up, but I'm assuming that in the second there wouldn't be a transformation. The only time that I could see that happening is the event with the shiny trio from Johto.

It...sounds kind-of useless, IMO. I mean, it'll be fun for the first few times, and doubtless the Champion will have one to trip you up, but after all of the hype around Zorua and Zoroark they've just turned out to be glorified Dittos. :|

What happens if they're the only Pokémon you have with you?

What I don't get is how, upon encountering the wild Zoroark, it can change into Entei in the battle we saw.
(I realise that Zoroark's event is subject to change.)

The ability is probadbly just 'modified' for that battle, because it's a special movie event Zoroark.

Anyway the ability sounds unique and interesting. May be a bit broken though. We shall see.

I'd like to think that this implies B/W's new abilities will be even more fleshed out than what we've got so far, but I'll be a skeptic on that for a little bit.

(I realise that Zoroark's event is subject to change.)

This may help you, taken directly from Serebii:

With the new downloads of the beasts; Entei, Raikou & Suicune in Japan to tie in with the upcoming movie, further details have been revealed about the in-game Zoroark event. As we stated last month, when you bring the beasts to Black & White through the Transfer Machine, you will get access to Zoroark in an as-of-yet undisclosed location in Isshu. This battle with Zoroark has you first face against an Illusion of one of the beasts. Previously, we didn't know what causes Zoroark to change form, but a pamphlet with the download has since confirmed it.
If you send over Raikou, Zoroark will appear as Entei.
If you send over Entei, Zoroark will appear as Suicune.
If you send over Suicune, Zoroark will appear as Raikou.
It is still not currently known how Zoroark's Illusion ability will work outside of this special event. The pamphlet also further confirmed the fact that Zorua & Zoroark can only be obtained through these special events. We'll bring more as it comes

It seems like a rather intriquing ability of you ask me. And like some one all the way above said it could be a good use at fakeing out. Zoroark has the potential to be a huge threat if used correctly in seasoned teams, that is if its stats are up to par which I really believe they are.

Does the opponent see the transformation or not?

If Zoroark is sent out as Zoroark, and then transforms, then the ability is useless competitively, it's just a gimmick.

However if the transformation is unseen, so Zoroark is sent out in the form of, say, a Croagunk, and you have no idea that it's not a Croagunk until you use a Psychic move on it, then the ability is broken and will probably be banned.

Well its gonna do what it did in the video...it will fade from the transformation to Zoro and back again...Not sure how much but yeah

    I kinda like the idea.
but I would just like to use the zoroark sprite instead of using the 2nd pokemon's sprite.
Cause I am Very excited for this Pokemon and I would like to see it when I send it out instead of seeing my 2nd pokemon..

It's a nice ability. I'll love to see how strategies will evolve using Zoroark since I anticipate many people to noobishly use him in every single battle when the game comes out, and I'm not gonna lie, I probably will too. This means that now guessing which pokemon is actually out will be the biggest factor in every online match. However this ability does not gain an overpowering advantage over the opponent as you will probably only be able to fool your opponent if Zoroark is disguised as a pokemon that does not have an ability that expressly activates itself during certain conditions like intimidate or sychronize. This will most likely mean that in Gen V most standard online matches will basically start with a gamble. Use a fighting-type to hopefully eliminate Zoroark, or call the bluff.
