if all the legendary Pokémon were fighting in the middle of various cities, even if we didn't get involved, could the after result of their battle (or during) be worse than WWII's war and after effect??? take into consideration our buildings and stuff... I am pretty sure you know what happened to some buildings in WWII... would WWII be worse or would the legendaries fighting be worse? why or why not?

Legendarys fighting would be worse by far. Time and space would be ripped apart, droughts and floods would occour, and the very god itself would be raining meteors down on us. And more.

It depends on what you consider "worse" and what legendaries they are. Imagine the Mew and Mewtwo fights in the movies, they didn't kill anything because Mew didn't really wanna fight, and imagine Jirachi vs. Mew.

There's also the emotional effect - the idea of one person killing millions and millions is much more horrifying imo than a Pokemon because...it's not human. Just like in the Mewtwo movie Mewtwo attacking humans isn't emotional for me but Pokemon attacking other Pokemon is, it's the same species.

This is incredibly disrespectful when we're talking about a terrible war that resulted in more action being taken to prevent such horrible tragedies against human life.

It's a really good question. On one hand, some of the legendary Pokémon have enough power to bring the apocalypse to Earth. On another, the bloodshed that's caused during WW2 is unparallelled.

However, what goes against the theory that the legendary Pokémon would cause such a thing in their wake by fighting against each other is that, first & foremost, at least half of them are actually docile & dislike fighting altogether. The other thing is, most of them are well away from civilization, with some of them going as far as light-years away. The only real plausible threat is if Dialga & Palkia kept clashing at each other. Outside of that, the chances of them causing world-wide devastation on the planet are as high as finding a real end of the world claim.

In other words WW2 is the worse of the two. Mankind is its own worst enemy - always was, always will be.

Physically, most likely MUCH more devastating. You have Mewtwo, the most powerful psychic along with Ho-Oh and Lugia, guardians of the sky and sea, respectively. Then you have the weather trio, capable of completely rendering the atmosphere, well.. It wouldn't be pretty. Then you get the Gods of time, space, antimatter, and everything else. Don't forget Regigigas, which apparently pulled continents. Plus, the games have already stated that Zekrom and Reshiram once destroyed Unova with battle. This isn't even counting the minor legendaries. Yes, the descriptions of their feats may be exaggerated, but overall, I still think the effects of the battle would be.. immense.

and Keep in mind I'm not gonna go into the moral aspects of HvH or PvP. and I won't touch on what makes the legendaries fight, either.

The legend of Kyogre and Groudon states that they waged an epic battle, forging the lands and the seas. If these two alone were to conduct a battle that went uninterrupted by Rayquaza, chances are all civilisation could easily be lost.

No it would be nowhere near as bad as WW2. As you have explained it; the pokemon fighting is not based on racial prejudice. How can you compare pokemon fighting with a holocaust. Even if mew-two made the earth explode into a million pieces, that is not in my opinion as bad as ww2.

Sure, mental and emotional damages would be drastically different. But physical damage would be so much greater if Pokemon fought a war versus humans fighting a war. One great proof to that is, regardless of how people can behave, there still are certain rules to war. They may not be as civil as the past, but those rules still exist.

If Groudon and Kyogre's conflict managed to put almost a whole region in chaos, imagine if ALL the legendaries would battle each other. Laws of Physics would be destroyed, the world will go out of control. Even if we are not involved, we are still going to die.

I think too many people are trying to apply logic and morals to the battle. Take them away. Simply put, a full on legendary battle would be much worse than WW2.

A chaotic event, indeed. I agree that it would be much worse than any World War, because Pokemon makes things more chimerical. It would be a nice end of the world theme, oh yes.

I wouldn't want them to continue fighting if it ever happened though. I'd rather tame them and be an awesome Pokemon trainer.

Remember Dialga and Palkia? They locked down a city in some space locked... place. They didn't totally level the city because of Darkrai though. There's also Arceus who will just destroy everything. Yeah, it would be worse.

If you don't apply logic, you're just throwing out random guesses with no basis in anything. What's the point of the question if you're just going to guess?

Those are the three strongest legendaries in existence. What about less strong ones?

If ALL the legendaries clashed in a not-so-major battle, then only the Earth and half of the moon would probably explode into oblivion. But if they all clashed in a serious, deadly battle, then all of existence would cease to exist and all of time and space would cease to move.

Imagine: Eruptions, droughts, floods, blizzards, thunderstorms, hail, blizzards, glaciers, tornadoes, earthquakes, psychic energy, dark energy, rips in time and space, doomed desires, aeroblasts, sacred flames, blue flares, fusion flares, fusion bolts, bolt strikes, meteors, hyper beams, and many more calamities coming together to create the ultimate disaster...

The legendaries are legendary for a reason, so I believe that all of them have at the very least the potential to cause a lot of destruction. Darkrai would run around and cause pandemonium since everyone's asleep and having nightmares. That's a bit more... psychological but it's damaging nonetheless. For a weaker legendary, there's Manaphy. Manaphy can just do Heart-Swap and confuse every single legendary out there and screw them over.

I could go on and on, but someone above listed all the disasters that could happen so I'll stop here.

if all legendaries were fighting each other... Stopped reading there.

Ridiculous question. The answer is glaringly obvious.
