    Egg gender ratios?

I haven't done breeding much in the past, but I'm having a hard time getting females. I was trying to get a female Charmander with a Male charmander and a Ditto, and it took me about 40 eggs until I got one. Now I'm trying again with Omanyte, and I currently have gotten 26 in a row male. I'm still trying to get the female, but this ratio seems to go beyond the 12.5%. Or am I extremely unlucky? Is there any mechanic that, maybe, affects gender ratios when using Ditto's? Or is there something I could be doing wrong?

Edit: It took 32 eggs, but I got a female. I don't know if it affected it, but I put a male with Cute Charm in the first slot. I wasn't sure if Cute Charm affected eggs but I figured it couldn't hurt. Does anyone know definitively if Cute Charm affects eggs?

When it comes to breeding, gender ratios are random.

Cute Charm only works for wild Pokemon. They have to be in the leadoff spot and the ability gives you a chance to spot a wild Pokemon of the opposite gender by 66%.

    How do I find rotom?

I heard that you can find rotom in that place on route 15 or 16, I don't remember what that place was called, I think lost hotel, I'm honestly not sure. But anynway, I also heard that you can only catch him on Tuesdays during the night, is this true? Can't I catch him anytime I want during Tuesday? I've also heard other people saying they have encountered him in the wild, there is too many information about Rotom where I just can't decide which one is the right one. How do I find Rotom and when?

In the lost hotel on Tuesday(anytime), if you see a shaking garbage can go and check it out, it might be a rotom. I believe this is the only way to find one, If you still have trouble PM, VM me and i will trade you one.

Yes you can only find him on tuesdays in the lost hotel but I'm not sure about the time. Save at a shaking trash can and open it. If Rotom doesn't show up, just soft reset the game and try again.

What are the best links to find IVs for Gen 6 pokes? I know there are some floating around but I am not able to find them.

There are a few IV calculators you can use to work out the individual IVs for GenVI, but because any pokémon caught in the Friend Safari is guaranteed 2 max IVs it's actually quicker to use the Stats Judge in the Kiloude City Gym.

If you speak to the Stats Judge in Kiloude, he'll say "stats like that can't be beat" if you have a full 31 in a particular IV and will mention each IV thats at 31. I've been using this as a guide and now have 5 pokémon with 5 full IVs.

Here is a guide to the Judge: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Stats_judge

Since I can't be bothered to look for a specific thread for this, if someone has a female Medicham with telepathy they are willing to trade for a decent Scyther, Gible, Tympole, Muchlax, or Snover, please message me. Of all my friends, the only fighting safaris don't have one available. Thanks.

I have an Eevee which I want to evolve to Vaporeon. I want it to learn Baton Pass and Aqua Ring while labelling up, but there's a problem. Eevee learns Baton Pass at level 33, but Vaporeon learns Aqua Ring at level 24. Vaporeon also doesn't learn Baton Pass by leveling up. How can I get it to learn both moves? Do I have to breed an Eevee which knows Baton Pass straight after hatching? Or is there some other way?

Level Eevee to get baton pass, then evolve and go to the move reminder to get aqua ring for Vaporeon. ;) All you need is a heart scale.

do individual EVs max at 252 now instead of 255?

the punching bag mini-game doesnt seem to let me raise anything higher than 252. so, i'm inclined to think that's the case.

It doesn't let you go higher than 252 EVs in a stat because there's no point in putting more than that in a single stat. 255-252=3, and it takes 4 EVs to increase a stat by 1 point. So the remaining 6 EVs (why the total is 510, idk, it should be 508) go into another stat.

Also, which Garchomp is better? I have 2, one with perfect Attack and Speed IVs, an Adamant nature, and Sand Veil. The other is Jolly with perfect Attack, Sp.Attack, and Sp.Defense IVs, and Rough skin. They run the same EVs (252 Speed, 252 Attack), and similar movesets.

And could I get a better Garchomp if I bred the 2 together?

    that's not what i asked...

what i am asking is if 255 is no longer the max.
for example, do i not have to be as careful with EV training as i used to? (for regular EV training as well)

    Need Charizard mega stone?

I want to get a charizard mega evo stone, and the guy at the store is only willing to sell me a Venasaur one. I really need one for Charizard! Help me?

Also, where to find a ever stone, and will all of Luminose City ever be open, and how?

Once you buy the Venasaurite, he shall offer the Charizardite Mega Stone that is exclusive to your version of the game. However, if you want to trade, your best bet would be the Quick Trade Thread or the Trade Plaza. Lots of people are willing to part with a mega stone with the right incentive.

As for your second point(s), Lumiose City will become "open" when you complete the Power Plant area. An everstone can be found on a Graveler (I believe). Google where to find one or use the Q&A Thread.

You have to buy the Venusaur one first. Once you beat Team Flare in a certain area the next path will lead you into the 2nd half of Lumoise where the power will now be turned on. You can get Everstones from Secret Super Training.

If you breed, like continuously, you can get a better one with ATK, Sp.D and Speed. And according to Smogon, Sand Veil is banned from its competitive play.

How doesn't that answer you question exactly? o.o He says 252 is the max.
