I like it too. This is the Internet afterall, a world full of cutthroat bandits;swashbuckling pirates; and ninjas. It's nice for the masses to be able to go somewhere and find reputable and trustworthy traders.

I'm so annoyed omfg. I was searching for Ditto's on the GTS and this one apparently had 5 perfect IVs, and they were asking for a Xerneas. So naturally I'd rather a breeding device than a pointless legendary... oh no, when I check the Ditto's IVs its only flawless IVs were special defense and speed.

I got screwed, and not in the good way.

The only reason I can figure people on the GTS are asking for legendaries & other rare Pokemon for the common Vivillon patterns (like modern & elegant), is that they have perfect IVs. I don't IV breed, I just want the collection. And when one does happen to pop up someone doesn't want a legendary for its gone in a split second & I can't click the button fast enough. Oh well. The GTS has gotten me a couple besides my native Modern pattern.

Yes the gts can be a tricky place. I would never think about trading anything nice for a ditto on there. I'm so sorry that happened to you Naya.:(.I also know the pains of hunting vivillon on the gts. I traded away many legendaries to complete my collection when I started. Still, at the beginning of x and y coming out, it was a lot easier to get legendaries to do that with. At least that's what I've noticed. I've seen several people in the qtt offering and looking for vivillon. Another thing I did when I was starting my search was find someone else who was doing the same and work together. The User Natsu Dragneel really helped me with my collection. Good luck in your quest and I hope I helped a little.

I don't even know why I did it lol, I have a box full of Ditto's that have 2/3 perfect IVs and I've been doing perfectly fine with them.

After the Skiddo event I decided to ditch it because I was gonna scream if I got another 31 / 31 / xx / xx / 31 / 31 so I moved onto Binacle and this morning I hatched a lovely 31 / 31 / 31 / xx / 31 / 31 with a Jolly nature. I'm gonna save up for an ability capsule because it's ability is Sniper.

Onto Fennekin now, which is almost done! :))

Just took a break from legendary trading on the gts an looked at my dex. I only have 125 to go. And most of that I need to either breed or evolve. With the exception of the event legendaries, I'm only lacking uxie, mesprit, and registeel. I've been in the gts pretty much all night last night and today. Shiny charm, here I come.

Managed to snatch a shiny Female Braixen for Zekrom on the GTS. It's only good as a trophy but man, I never thought someone would actually put up a shiny Female Braixen and nobody took it for 30 minutes.

Nice!! Congratulations buddy. I just got my first Event. It's a Darkrai.

It almost seems like Pokébank is open even though it's not. We have a huge flood of Shiny 6IV Events running around and other stuff. I'm such a newb trader again because I don't have them.

Bank has been open in Japan this entire time so not surprising. I could get so many more shinies if it was available in America. :(

I've noticed the drop in value too. That's why I'm hunting Events. I'm looking for Shiny 6IV with the correct nature for those that are legally possible. Obviously if it doesn't have the proper Ball it is hacked. If Shiny isn't possible then I'm looking for the same stuff, just not Shiny. I've given up trying to not get hacks. If it passes my own check on if it COULD be legal I'll accept it.

No sense trying to fight it, they are Events, hard to get regardless.
