Yes but the gap between the last game release is huge. Not only that, but we're so deep in XYZ plot ( In the anime). We keep hearing news about spin off's etc and not a single clue regarding a new main game.. Gets tiring ;)

It's not as huge as the gap of Japanese DP's release and the reveal of Platinum which was like 20 months. We're barely going to be in our 15th month since OrAs (in 2-3 days). If the gap gets that huge then it'll be revealed in June... I think the gap between Japanese Gen V's pairs was like 15 months, so...yeah... we're spoiled here in the west thanks to Pt, HgSs, BW, B2W2, XY, and OrAs coming right after the other (year wise).

There are so many facts and ideas that support a traditional 3rd version, yet other facts make it look otherwise..
I guess that the fan base just wanna know what concept the game's gonna have.. me included hehe

Yes, the variety shows are on the weekend. B2W2 thus was unveiled on a Sunday (well it was Saturday in the U.S. at the time). Usually that's the source of our weekend news. Corocoro has leaked on the weekends too,but we're done with this month's.

Also last time they took over Nintendo World was to either announce diamond and Pearl or showcase it. All I remember is they had a battle between the starters, dialgla, and palkia. So Z is pretty likely then.

Also every pokemon title has had a launch party there.

Funny, that was the same year as Firered and Leafgreen came out (2004 was when DP were unveiled), now look at us celebrate the 20th anniversary of Red and Green. DP did manage to come out for the 10th anniversary year of RG (wow...DP took like 22 months to come out since it was revealed, irc it was revealed Nov 2004, came out in Japan in September 2006... That's longer than the gap mentioned before about DP's release and the reveal of Pt!)Now, I wonder if GF also skipped out on 2015 having a MG as 1995 (RG were meant for December 1995) and 2005 (DP was meant for that year) saw delays...

Lol it's 4chan. It's either really stupid/ or really hostile/ but it can also be really amusing to read sometimes.

Could have sworn one of the translations I saw had AZ tacked onto it as well.

I hate to break it you, but that leak has already been debunked as a fake because of the Pokken news.

It mentioned that Latios was one of the 4 last fighters, but here it is, as shown from Nintendo Life's video, as a support Pokemon, which means that Pokemon AZ news is also fake.

I'm seriously starting to think we'll hear something on the 27th as well. Some people say that would detract attention from the VC releases and the other stuff, but I personally think that wouldn't be the case. Everything happening on the 27th has been getting hype since they were announced back in November, that's more than enough hype to ensure the celebration's success. The announcement of the next game would be an added bonus.

I seriously doubt that a Direct will take place on the 27th, because that's on a Saturday, and Directs never air on the weekends. I say the 26th is more likely.

It doesn't need to come from a Direct. Could be revealed at the party, or perhaps in Pokénchi, it'll be the 28th in Japan but the a lot of the world will still be at the 27th when it airs.
