Sorry for joining so late, these last few days at work have been hectic for me so I haven't been able to play very much, but today I should have a bunch of time to hunt around for some Zubat.

How are you guys posting these from your phone? I have the screenshot, just can't find a formatting option in the forum post that seems to work.

Personally I upload the pictures to Facebook by sending them to myself in a private message using my phone's Facebook Messenger app, then just copy and paste the image from that conversation on my computer. Quite a long-winded way of doing it but only takes seconds to actually do. Other people probably use better methods so hopefully they'll reply but that's how I do it haha.

Does anybody know whether the time influences the encounter rate of Zubat like in the main series? I'm literally considering getting up at 4 AM to hunt bats to be able to beat Regeneration's score right now.

I've seen theories in both directions but no one seems to know for sure. I've seen a lot of people say that it conclusively doesn't effect it, but then a lot of people claim to have evidence of the contrary and personally I see tons of Zubat at night but barely ever during the day so... hard to say for sure but the official answer people are giving for now is no!

I am having NO LUCK with Zubats this week. After having evolved to a Golbat last week, I was pretty satisfied and haven't been after them too hard. Have even passed them up sometimes cause they're just so dang hard to catch. But now when I want to, I can't find any. =P

About posting screen shots, this might be easier for you then using another website that you are not signed up for; I use this very website to post all of my screenshots. Just go to your profile page, go to your photo albums and click to it's page, then upload your screenshots into a folder and then you can just post image links using the url's for the image from this site.
That's how I do it and it only requires me to use one website, (the best one of course) this one!

As for searching for finding Zubats in general. I find them at all times of the day. The only reason why I find them more often at night is because I play mostly at night. Zubat are a common pokemon in my area but I would say they are lower on the list as a common pokemon.
Despite that it seems Zubat don't care about what hour of the day they are out and about in my area... I have noticed that other pokemon do care... For example, there is an Onix who spawns around my apartment but only in the super early hours of the morning (2am-4am) and there is a Lapras spawn point in the middle of town but I've only seen it spawn twice and it has always been at around midnight and 1am.
So although I feel like Zubat do whatever they want at any time, I really think there is some merit about time affecting other spawn rates.

Update #2 is on my first post, now at 23 caught!

I also would say I see no evidence with the Day/night Zubat stuff. I've probably caught half during the day and half at night. If there is a difference, I would say its fairly small
