In our school we have to do all three sciences either as Double Award (two GCSEs for the price of three D: aka complete waste of time) or Triple, which is what I'm doing - however, the sciences are the ones that I was offered to do early because I switched schools and apparently my old school did like... all the GCSE course in Year 8 and 9, so now I just mess around in class :D
I get As and Bs too most of the time, my options are History, Spanish, Drama and Art, and I almost dropped Art a few weeks ago when I found out my predicted grade was a B (slight perfectionist), and it took my mum to yell at me that me getting a B means I'm doing better than most people for me to keep it up xD I don't like taking a subject unless I'm likely to get an A v.v
I'm about the same in English :O Except we've only done one official coursework and two other possibles, but I got As in all of them, and we're just starting the 19th century drama (Journey's End - obviously you pick a war story for a class with twelve girls and four boys. Dumb teacher), and we're doing random war poems every so often. I'm top of the class in Drama apparently as well, thanks to the fact that I've been doing Drama Practicals AND Theory since I was tiny, so I know what the teacher's talking about xD In the Parent-Teacher meetings she said 'Georgia is an oasis of calmness, intelligence and maturity in a desert of immaturity and ignorance' xDDDD Which my parents found hilarious. But chya, I'm that kid in class P:
In my Science module ones (we've done Physics and Chem so far) I got 48/50 and 50/50... so yeah >.< Don't worry about sounding like a nerd. Oh and I'm the top non-Asian kid in my year at maths, apparently in the top 4 percent in the British Commonwealth o.o' Maths is my best subject other than Drama, though I enjoy every subject I take.
To be honest, I just like learning in general xD And I like debating/talking, so that's why I'm good at English - I can write an essay without having a clue what it's about and still get a B for my language/persuasive skills, according to my teacher o.o
I'm a complete geek in school, but I figure... if I'm gonna be at school for another four years, I'm not wasting 9 hours a day, five days a week for four years, I'm gonna get damn good marks or it's pointless :)
