  • I updated the thread with a post of mines use:
pbPokemonFollow(x) where "x" means the dependent event which you want your following pokemon to be.
its working perfectly fine with what you sent me, and can you link Chris' stuff to me. I his script how he made pokemon move in stationary mode.
    Oh, I don't actually. I'm afraid I don't use much of Help-14's stuff.

I forget that Help 14 even did one of those.
The key bit of information you haven't told me is what "select that option" means. Do you have a command list of some sort, one command of which is "Open door"?

Regardless, you can ask someone else. You've asked me enough simple questions for now.
The reason I said nothing about making the Pokémon actually follow you is because I haven't used to following script in over a year, and don't remember any of the commands. Sorry, but I'm afraid I can't help with that much.
A dependent event will follow the player as they walk around. You're free to try it yourself to see what limitations there are.

If your game has a (meaningful) demo available for download and play, you can add it to the wiki yourself.
If you want to set up a guided tour, just use a Move Route. If you want the player to be able to roam freely with the NPC following them, then use a dependent event.

I don't use the friend thing on here. I'm not looking for replacements for graphics that already exist, but thanks for the offer.
Including actual attack animations is the least of my concerns at the moment. I would like to make them work properly first, at least (not to mention everything else that needs improving in Essentials). I'm rather hoping that other people will create and donate animations, rather than expecting me to do them all, because it would take forever if I did it all myself.
Use the event command "Change Battle BGM" (before the battle starts). That changes the music for the next battle only.
