Heh, there's something to be said for one's first Pokemon... I think I'll always have a soft spot for my Gold Cyndaquil/Quilava/Typhlosion. But I'm also really, really fond of my Emerald Torchic/Combuskin/Blaziken. So it's a tie.

I don't know what my favorite type is... probably fire... that's definitely my favorite starter, however.

I'm in total agreement with Ayselipera. The show, I think, is childish, but the games? Well, they have a balance. There are childish aspects, but there's so much depth to go into that really, you can't fully call them childish. The level of strategy and detail puts the games on a level where...

I use my laptop all the time. I love that it's portable, allowing me to take it wherever I need to go when I travel, or even just to sit somewhere more comfortable than at a desk. It suits all my needs perfectly, allowing for my level of gaming and more importantly, my graphics work and writing...

I'm another that prefers Calibri, usually about size 10. I used to be a big fan of Verdana, but Calibri is a little softer, more delicate font and I like that. For professional works, though, yes. I stick to Times New Roman, almost invariably size 12.

Well? Seriously, I'm trying to write a believable story and it just hit me... I have no idea. I remember seeing steaks and sushi and all sorts of normal things in the anime, but if so... where does it come from? Are those Tauros steaks and Crawdaunt scampi? I apologize if that offends...

Thanks for the reply, Redstar! I've since been reading up on breeding and animal husbandry, and a thought's occured to me... there's a lot of deaths, babies born dead, animals put down... it made me wonder, should that always be involved? Is it a writer's choice? Something to save for Darkfics...

I like to consider myself a budding Pokemon Breeder, and would like to write a story involving one. That's got me thinking a lot about the mechanics of writing it, though. Any advice?
