meh, I don't like the 2DS at all...
it's like they just took a big piece of aluminum, cut a bit out of it and put 2 screens and some buttons on it.
looks really weird and ugly imo :P (and it's newer so more expensive)

I missunderstood the MM too the first time I tried it,
and I ended up hatching useless treecko eggs for 2 whole days without a shiny.
Then I found out one of em should come from another region ( >.<)

I know the feeling... I've tried the masuda method in White 2, but after 350+ tries it bored me so much that I quit. But don't quit! once you get a shiny it's really satisfying!

btw if you're trying on Pokemon X or Y you should get a Magcargo or a slugma, their ability halves the steps needed to hatch an egg ;)
