  • Ohh I see. Yeah whenever I buy music I usually end up loving the whole album. But I definitely see where you're coming from, a lot of stuff only has 1 or 2 good songs on the whole album. That is, unless you're like me and look really hard. ;P

Btw, that album I linked you to comes out tomorrow!!! <3333 *throws party*
    I'm busy working on a couple home computers... though I just put my new motherboard in a case that doesn't have enough room for all the hard drives I have, and didn't realize that until I tried putting them in. XD;
    Crumb cake = GOOD.

Anyways, how have you been? Sorry I couldnt get back to you sooner, I had a thing or two to fix on my computer.
I'm into the post-hardcore/alternative scene yo. I be all gangsta like that up in da hood. lol not. I tend to like underground bands too, much better than overplayed radio crap. Most of the stuff I listen to you've probably never heard of.

But yeah, bands like Saosin and Story of the Year and Secret and Whisper (my favorite) really get my blood pumping. I actually like screaming, but my one rule is you have to be able to understand what they're saying when they scream. lol. A good example of my kind of screamo is Yashin, although they're kinda pop-punkish. Check out Of Machines too. One thing I really love is when they have an awesome lead singer and a screamer trade off throughout the song.

The best lyricist I have ever heard of imo is Kevin Matisyn. He sand for the first two albums by Evans Blue and now he's in Parabelle. His lyrics are a little dark but it's just amazing. I love poetic lyrics, they're one of the first things I look for in music.

I also have a side ear fetish with techno. 8D I grew up on country, but I really dislike most of it and it's gone wayyy downhill over the past decade. I miss the stuff from the 90's. I tend to not like music from decades prior to the 90's, but there is some stuff I do like, I'm just choosy.

If I had to go with a rule of thumb for picking music between genres, I love stuff that's energetic and driving and ambient. Stuff that plucks you up in the air and puts you on cloud nine or on a different planet.

    Here's a quick looksie =P

Nah it's all good, lol. no offense taken. Although I can't say I understand your viewpoint on it. lol. Honestly, you really should open up to it, I think. I mean I get not trusting someone you just met, obviously, but an IM isn't much of a step higher than us VMing right now. But it's cool with me if you'd rather not. Just sayin'.

As for this newfangled chatting thing all the kids are doing these days (lol) what kind of music do you like?

RANT RANT RANT RANT RANT jk.
Yeah, the $300 a year tax isnt law yet, but they're trying like the dickens to get it to pass. Of course, everybody is trying to throw their proverbial wrenches into the mix, but, I think it's gonna eventually go down. Oh well.

I saw this Edwards Key Lime Pie at the store on Sunday, and it looked really good. I was a little hesitant to buy it though, because the last frozen pie I bought was....well, to be nice, not that great. (It was supposed to be Dutch Apple, and it tasted almost like apple jell-o....) I asked, because I was wondering if you had any experience with frozen pies...lol.
lol does that mean I can bother you more often??? XD And yeah man, it's definitely a pleasure. I never meet many mormons online with the same interests I have; most of the time when I go on these online places I get surrounded by liberal atheists who think ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING IS OK. D=

You should get an MSN messenger account. We can talk much more that way. =P

But yeah I'm Mr. superconservative over here while the rest of the place is swarming with liberals who can't make effective arguments. lolz. If you say homosexual acts are wrong on here you can expect to be flamed. They get all whiny about it. Heaven forbid they actually have to change their lifestyle like everyone else does with every other type of sin. So they try to trick everyone into thinking it's acceptable when it contradicts nature. But meh. They're only screwing themselves over anyway.
Aww, poo. And here I was hoping to trade one day. :(

The tax is very inconvenient. Street (our ex-mayor) went on the news talking about how a 2-liter is going to cost twice as much now. But, if it means we can have what our city used to have 5 years ago, (libraries, public pools, police, fire departments, etc.) then that's okay, I guess. Soda is kind of a choice.

Now, the $300 a year trash tax is something evil indeed. x.x

    Ever have key lime pie?
Well, drinking the soda is cool too. :)

Actually, in my city, they're gonna start taxing all the soda we drink. 2 cents for every ounce. Chocolate milk, too. I guess that's what we get for being broke. x.x

If you want, I can make some pokerus Bulbasaurs for you. Just say the word, and I'll get right on it. :D
Oh snap it's another Mormon. Cool. Yeah my mission is pending pretty soon right now since I just turned 19 about a week ago. Gotta get my papers in yet though.
Yeppers....poor Bulbasaurs. :( All infected with nowhere to go.

That's okay, though. I traded them via gts to someone who wants them. And I still have a handful of guys that still have the pokerus, so it wasnt too much of a loss. Just a pain in the ass. lol.

Music, I believe, uses a different part of your brain than any physical activity you might do. The feeling of accomplishment is the same, but, since music is also a creative, left-lobe kind of thing, it's different than the strategic chess-like maneuvers you might do while fencing. Maybe you're more creative and in touch with your emotions more than you are with your two feet. Or....maybe I'm just verbally dribbling. :)

Those two recipes are the only two I know for ginger ale...heh. Maybe people in your area dont drink enough soda? :p
Hmm... did you have to tell an admin or someone your username? I donated by clicking on the donate button at the top of this page. I'm kinda freaking out.xD
