  • Yea, I'm going to dive right into asm hacking and scripting this time so I can truly hack for the fun of it.
lol yea your right just make sure its put in the exact locks or the animation may be a bit off
i just wana say ja if you noticed in the players house in his room there is a signpostscript on the pc witch activates it so it has nothing to do with the bytes but scripts lol hope this helps
yea, but also, i noticed that when the player is in his room, and activates the pc in his room, it doesn't have a behavior byte.
i just tried it and....it didn't work.......theres no hope now...

    nah joking, it worked!!
so what if i put the new cpu over the old cpu animation, and put the byte, and try it in game, maybe it could work?
so how could i possibly insert a new cpu inside the pokecenter, while making sure that i can access it?
so you are saying that when you put that byte on a tile, and press A on it, the firered "pc" appears? if that's it, then it has to be the animation right?
alright, i'll remove them, and for the cpu inside the pokecenter, when you acces the pc, is it a script or a behavior byte? becuase i haven't seen a script there.
yea haha i rechecked as well, it was 0-6, my bad, well now i can get to inserting them, oh and btw, i know that some tiles have animations, but if i replace the whole tileset with new tiles over the ones with animations, will it still show the animations in game? or would i have to use animationeditor to remove it?
yea i understand, just found out its not the same as the outdoor tileset, tileset 1 palletes for indoors are 0-5 so thanks for the help.
Message to everyone and anyone who helped create Pokemon Rumble Rock over the past 3 months.
I would like to start by saying thanks for all your help weather it was mapping, scripting, spriting, or just creative input we appreciate it.
Now in the run up to demo 1. (some bugs still need to be ironed out) Oli has created us a website specially for members of team RR and the followers of the hack.

Hey what's up? i don't think you remember me, since i never talk to you lol, anyways, i needed to ask something about tile inserting, and since i know that you know how to, i thought i could ask you :D

alright, so i want to insert indoor tiles, such as pc,mart, and house tiles, but i'm not sure if the palletes for tileset 1 of the indoor tileset 1 is pal 0-6 like the outdoor tiles, because i remember someone telling me that its only pal 0-4, i don't know if you understand what i'm trying to say, but i wanted to make sure before i make any mistakes haha, i never insert indoor tiles that much so i needed to know. so yea, if you could help out it would be nice, btw, i'm inserting tiles for firered, i know ruby has a few differences than firered, so just wanted to let you know.
Decided to come back to pc after a year of one thing after another. Thinking about getting back into an old hobby ;)

I want to get back in touch with all my old pc friends as it was fun back in the day.
