I started Sapphire recently and it surprised me when the gym leaders used more than one potion for each Pokemon. I would whittle down Machop's health slowly, to be met with "Brawly used a Super Potion". I got its health down again, only to see another super potion!
Other than Magikarp and Gyarados getting the wrong sort of G sound from me, I think my only other one was Raikou. I still don't really know how to pronounce that. Is it Ray-koo, Rye-ko, Rye-koo?
How about something that'll never happen?
Like, Zoroark gets a secondary type that is the same as the opponent's primary type? If battling a water type, Zoroark becomes dark/water. If the enemy is fighting/ground, Zoroark is dark/fighting. If it's dark, Zoroark is then DOUBLE dark!
If Zoroark's ability is just an automatic transform, I will not be happy. Since you'd hardly get to see its sprite. Although, I'm not exactly looking forward to Zoroark's back sprite.... Anyway, I really do hope that they get more creative with him than "Shapeshift? Ok, let's make him transform!"
My first update.
Started with Treecko and went through the beginning until I could get to route 102 and caught a Lotad. I named it Lotodrip.
Passed through Petalburg, went into the woods and caught a Shroomish. I named it Caparoo.
Easily beat Roxanne.
Saved Peeko, went to Dewford.

I was glad that they made a more masculine alternative to Gardevoir. What I didn't like was that they made Gallade male only, while Gardevoir continued to be both. Why couldn't Gallade be both, or have some statement about Hoenn's geography influencing male Kirlia to evolve into Gardevoir so...
It could also be Grass/Psychic, Water/Fighting, Fire/Dark. Or the other combination.
Actually, I think that part that looks like a half-black bit of mane is just the fluff on its right shoulder. You can see that the red mane is between the ears, while the black bit is past the right ear.

, but ya, my mom wasn't too thrilled when I started up. She actually tried to keep me from getting involved with pokemon until I started buying the stuff myself. I never knew that until I asked her how she felt about it last year.
