Ah, my favourite generation is the 2nd, then the 1st! The 2nd gen is my fave simply because i love.. Basically everything about it. The music (beeps, at best, but still music XD), the towns, the Pokemon, and RED! Such nostalgia i'll never experience again! Lol. I like gen 1 too, tho- the sprites are hideous, but it's so retro, and yeah, the Pokemon can't be beat. Well, obviously they can, in battle, but you know what i mean.. Sorry, i always post really long rants. Oops. XD So, yeah, Turtwig is pretty awesome, his final evolution is called Torterra, who reminded me of Venusaur (with the plant/trees growing out of their backs)! So, weather cleared up? XD

Cool! I have both (no, i'm not a spoilt child, i bought them myself, and Diamond was second hand... Lol =D). I first picked Turtwig. I love that big-headed-lil-guy! I recently started Diamond again, with Piplup. Its taking a little while, but i'm happy with my team so far.. You're really gonna like DP!

Oh, well nothing to escape from means nothing to hide from! (Whatever the heck that might mean...XD). Rain sucks. Ireland (where i'm living) is always rainy.. Ah, a ds! My dad dropped mine the other day. Top screen almost came clean off. I fixed it tho. Phew! What games do you have?

Meh, it's okay. I'm bored outta my mind! Lol. Yeah, i'm tired too, for some reason i played soccer for an hour and a half yesterday and now my legs are about to fall off.. I don't even LIKE sports.
So, summer is almost here! Woohoo! XD so are you in school, or college or anything that you can escape from when the summer comes? =]

Lol, I just stick to Pokemon games these days. I might start playing Final Fantasy because my friends are always talking about it. Professer Layton games are fun too, I like riddles and puzzles.

Whoa, lol, me too. I only have Pokemon and Nintendogs as DS games, I've got nothing else. I do have my eye on a Naruto game, but xD, I'm clueless as to playing it...the other problem is having my parents let me buy one, they probably think it's too violent, but hey, there's been worse games.

I first got my DS at Christmas, a few years ago; the games that were also presents were Nintendogs and Pokemon Ranger. But I decided that my first DS/GBA game should be a normal RPG Pokemon game, so I switched with FireRed. (Yeah, I'm sentimental like that)

It's really lucky if my Pokemon survive a really effective attack. I actually sigh outta relief whenever that happens xD.

I'm waiting till Platinum comes out, there's a slight chance I might not get it. The only DS game I'm missing is Explorers of Time or Darkness, though I've played it once. Can't wait till Platinum's out, it looks cool, I heard Explorers of Sky is coming out too.

Yep, I know that all Pokemon, no matter how strong they are have weaknesses. But for your own Pokemon's weaknesses, you need to know how to support them. Not sure if this is the kind of weakness you're referring to but...My Charizard (even though the amount of attacks are limited) has quite a variety of attacks. She knows Solarbeam to counter Rock and Water Types, and Earthquake for elelctic types. The rest are fire type moves, including Blast Burn.

I've never played Gale of Darkness before, I only have Pokemon Gameboy or DS games.

It's usually my started Pokemon that are higher leveled than my other Pokemon. Like, even after I finished the game, my Charizard is at leas more than 10 levels higher than most of my team, with the exception of my second strongest Pokemon, Vaporeon. It's the same with every other generation, for Sapphire, my strongest is Sceptile, second is Flygon, in Pearl, strongest is Empoleon, second is Mismagius. But two Pokemon aren't enough, I know for a fact that my whole team should be balanced.

I make the horrible mistake of (not really intentional) of making one Pokemon excel highly over the other Pokemon, causing the other Pokemon to be a bit under-levled, and then I depend on my highest level Pokemon and when it faints, my other Pokemon go with it. Dx I feel like hitting myelf in the face, because I know it's my fault.

I get mad at myself when my team and I lose too, I feel like crying whenever my Pokemon faint. xD (Call me over sensitive but...) I just know that it's my fault, 'specially when the Pokemon wasn't ready or under leveled.

Yep, I agree. And I especially hate it when I person loses a battle and blames it on the Pokemon. It's his/her fault that the Pokemon wasn't ready! D<People like that make me wanna...*Kaboom*

Yeah, I think alotta people think normal type Pokemon are weak.

I'm not sure about Butterfree (some people I know think it's girly and weak), but I was able to beat the rival's (in FireRed) Arcanine, despite the type disadvantage. Lol, I have a Linoone too, it's the third strongest in my team, and in Sapphire, I was able to beat the Elite Four without it fainting even once. I seriously don't know why people judge Pokemon of being weak or girly.

Lol, sorry if I'm annoying you about this. But I never knew that there was anyone in the world that saw Pokemon training the same way as me. I had posted that training didn't depend on the Pokemon, but trainer. Lol, I thought I sounded really cheesy and tacky saying that, cuz it sounded like it came from a cereal box. xD
