I want a CHAINSAW item in Emerald, and I want to register it to Select. I've gotten it to work in the Overworld, but I can't figure out how to make it work using Select. Is there a checksprite command I can implement with ASM?

update: so i made it work it seems i didn't install python correctly but now i get this error tried it atleast 5 time same (src/battle_start.c:1:10: fatal error: pokeagb/pokeagb.h: No such file or directory #include <pokeagb/pokeagb.h>)

I was almost fooled that some kind of suspicious activity went on when I saw FBI on my visitors age, but apparently it was nothing of the sort.

Using battle scripts does sound much easier! I'll try playing around with manipulating objects and try to use the battle scripts then. Thanks for the tip!

Oh, that's disappointing :( Do you remember if it was a specific function that you called, or did it require modifying existing routines? I've been trying to mess around with calling functions from the trainer command and player command tables, but the best I can do is have the trainer slide in and out immediately with the player's palette at the player's level :x

Oh, that's awesome! It looked really appealing in the video. Any chance you're willing to share it/help me work through it? I've come up with all of the hook locations for points during battle I'd like to display messages but I'm having trouble with the trainer sliding.
