As for other projects, let's see:

- I'm planning to bring back "Pokémon Secrets and Rumours", except this time it will be a Red hack instead of a Gold hack and will be called "Pokémon Forever". Technically it will be based on Red++ instead of regular Red, but yknow. That isn't really a secret or anything though since I think I mentioned it in the thread for Red++.

- I have a Gen III hack in very early stages right now, which is called "Mateo's Hoenn Adventure" for lack of a better title. It is a hack of Fire Red that will take place in Hoenn, but not be a direct remake. It will be kinda like what Dark Violet was. There will be changes to the region and storyline and stuff to make it be the way I want it instead of how Gamefreak did it. This is a combination of me learning how things work in Gen III and also me wanting to make Hoenn better. I always thought the region had potential, but I always get bored playing RSE and still haven't beaten it to this day believe it or not. This is basically a side-hack right now and I haven't done anything to it in a while, but I have a thread for it on PHO if you want to see some early screenshots.

- I am planning to make "Pokémon Spirits and Legends" which will be a Fire Red hack (unless people come a lot further with Emerald hacking between now and then) that will take place in Johto. Chronologically, it will take place between GSC and Christmas. I already have some of the major plot points planned out, and there are references to them occasionally in Christmas although admittedly some of these won't make a ton of sense yet. One of these is "Ace Trainer Jack" who was in the 2012 version. He is the male player from Spirits and Legends, and is in a Secret Base near Lake of Rage. He addresses the player by name and mentions meeting them a few months ago (because in Spirits and Legends, Mei and Hiro will both be unimportant NPCs in New Bark Town for continuity). Anyway, as you probably guessed from the title, the main focus of this hack will be Dark and Ghost types. There will be no Team Rocket takeovers or anything (they are still in hiding from Gold, meeting up with Giovanni so they can come back in Christmas) and there will instead be a different antagonist. A little teaser: there will be trainers who are actual ghosts, and a reason for their existence as such. You will also be able to explore new areas in Johto, such as expanded parts of Ilex Forest and abandoned subway tunnels in Goldenrod to name a few that are already planned. "The Looker" from Gen 4 will also make appearances here as well. Basically, this hack will take place in Johto but be a lot less like Gold than Christmas will inevitably still end up being. I have a lot of fun ideas for this one.

- I have considered making a small side-hack that would focus on South Isle and the other islands in the region it belongs to. Despite the Legend Festival there being strongly influenced by Pokemon 2000, I do not consider South Isle to be part of the Orange Islands or the Johto region (although it shows up on the Johto town map for convenience). I have imagined it as part of a small archipelago without its own Pokemon league. This side hack would have you play the son/daughter of a researcher stationed there, and there would be more of an emphasis on exploration and solving puzzles with no actual gym leaders and stuff. (Badges would be used to keep track of areas you had explored or something, haven't come up with a lot of the specifics yet).


That is probably a lot more than you were expecting to get, but I could be wrong :p I tried not to go too nuts with it, but I think I still got carried away talking about them at times.

Funny that you should say that... I'm the other way around; I've got the first & second ones on me, but not the third & fourth ones...

However, you might be able to get those on the PSN shop...

lol, I woke up at 6, turned my alarm off, accidentally fell asleep, woke up again at 7:15 and had to rather quickly get dressed and drive to work. Fortunately I only live a few minutes away so I wasn't late. Even drinking coffee at work though it took forever to stop feeling like a zombie. One of my coworkers was like "When you're tired, you look drunk" and I just laughed and said "Well I probably feel drunk. I dunno, I'm not awake enough to know yet" or something like that (idk, I wasn't awake enough to remember yet xD).

Well in original GSC you have to go to Dragon's Den because Clair doesn't wanna give you the badge at first. But I can make the shrine part with the TM be optional, and I already have some ideas on how to do that (Involving a battle with the Dragon Elder. At first he would give you a Dratini that knows Draco Meteor which you could breed onto others then later you could battle him again with a stronger team and get the TM which would let you give it to Pokemon that it couldn't be bred onto.

Hey, what are your thoughts on the whole "Draco Meteor as a TM in Pokemon Christmas" thing? I mean I know you said it was a bit OP, which it definitely is for one you could like buy at the Dept Store or something. But I was just wondering if you could elaborate a bit more when it came to your thoughts on it. You tend to have good ideas and stuff and so I thought I'd ask you specifically even though I posed a generic question to nobody in particular in the thread :3

Oh, I'm all good on the games department. Matter of fact, I've still got a plethora of games that I've yet to complete, not to mention that I've got at least one other game that I would like to get.

Anyway, I at first wanted to start a breeding shop in this place, but as it turned out, my interest in the games was on a sharp decline. X/Y tried it's very best to get it back up, & it almost succeeded. But alas, once I've finished the main story, it just petered out, & I was soon back to my other games.

Thus, I'm little more than a lurker around this place.
