Well all the towns are almost mapped. Barely any scripts in, I plan to release a beta so you can just travel.

and hey I came up with some new starter Pokemon, (because I know it will take forever, but I'm making 151 new Fakemon for Firered)
I'm calling them..

Fire: Azerp --> Blazerp --> Blazepen

Water: Wervent -->Werventine --> Wervenmight

Grass: Seedum --> Plantum --> Thornume

I already have their sprites sketched on paper, maybe you could help.

Ya, each team can represent the sun or moon in each version. and adding rivals, that's a good idea,
So how many rivals should be added? Because there is already the gary sprite, and then I am thinking maybe just one more that isn't very nice to you, but warms up to you later on.

Alright I'll also tell you another story idea i had..

Storyline ( I think I prefer this one, what do you think )
Your mom's Pokemon is sick. You leave town to go buy a potion, but before you leave, your mom tells you to see prof. ? (not decided yet) about receiving your pokemon today, for this little chore, but when you reture, your hometown is being invaded by team eclipse who wants info. on legendary... , There are two leaders of the team , one wants to just become the champion so he can prove he's strong. and the other (the big kahuna) tricks the other leader, and decideds to take the role as champion for himself to rule all!

Well solar will have a solar dragon Pokemon , while lunar version, ( I'm changing eclipse to lunar) will have a lunar dragon.

And here's my storyline idea, tell me your honest opinion because I want it to be the best ever.

STORYLINE

You play as the son/daughter of the Champion of the region Solum.
Your only wish is to become as strong as your father.
You are finally old enough to go on your very own Pokemon journey.
So your father sets you up an appointment with the infamous Professor in your hometown.
On your way to the laboratory, where you are asked to go to receive your Pokemon, an evil band of people destroy your hometown!
In the battle, you're kidnapped by the band of evil doers, wanting you to become a member.
You disagree, and escape. Looking to avenge your hometown, you pursue the team. You understand that if your father wasn't strong enough to stop this evil team, you are going to need to become much stronger.
So you aim out to become strong through challenging all 8 gyms and the elite four to become the champion!
Along the way, the team of bad guys are constantly causing ruccus, and you always try to stop them, but they are to strong to take by yourself, and something always happens at last second that you fail.
You beat the game through ending the team's actions forever!
