I always put max egg moves, even if it means the mon ends up with no attacking moves xD

The female one is gonna end up with 4 non attacking egg moves =p

No worries, I just spent last several days breeding for a shiny galar zigzagoon. RNG can be a b!tch lol

Resumed egg move breeding after I finally got it xD

I got a kanto lure ball HA slowpoke, with egg moves, ready now too. Finished it last night like right before I wnet to bed =p
I assume you wanted kanto slowpoke? If not, you can always get the galar one by breeding it with ditto without an everstone.

So we can trade whenever you have the HA friend ball sceptile & HA lure ball marshtomp.

I had several long workdays last week, after which I didn't feel like doing anything, so I felt like I had some catching up to do =p

I have HA slowpoke, but not in a lure ball yet. It's on my to do list, but I'd like to finish the starters I have left first.
I'm gonna breed a HA heavy & fast ball eevee real quick (just so I have them ready), and then I'm gonna put egg moves on my HA squirtle.

So when you have the other 2 hoenn starters; HA heavy ball onix + HA friend ball sceptile + HA lure ball marshtomp for my HA heavy ball & fast ball eevee + HA lure ball slowpoke, right?

oh btw, what did you catch spiritomb in? Idk if the HA is guaranteed, but its a guaranteed catch. I chucked a moon ball without even fighting it and it just went in (and mine had HA). If you got it in a diff apriball I'd be interested in it.

I'm currently focussed on breeding egg moves onto the HA starters I currently have. Did scorbunny yesterday, sobble and rowlet today. The popplio, litten and charmander I have already had egg moves so I don't need to do anything to them =) Also did Torchic recently (maybe 2 days ago, I don't remember already lol).
Which leaves me with 3 left that I can currently do (bulbasaur, squirtle, grookey). Might try to do bulbasaur later today, but kinda bored myself for now. need to go do something else for a while =p

I also got Fast & Heavy Ball HA eevee's now if interested.

I don't know where to put stuff anymore, my boxes are so dang full lol

It should be a 60% chance to inherit the HA, if the female has the HA, or either gender when breeding with a ditto.


The HA needs to be on the female, the apriball on the male afaik. That's how I've been breeding together my HA and aprimons.
I don't think a male with HA passes it on, when breeding same species.

RNG can be pretty ridiculous. I've had several species with a roughly 50-50 gender ration, where I had to breed over 10 batches (1 batch being 5 eggs) of mons just to get a female (with or without HA).

I'll be on for the next 45 mins at least for the ball trade. Otherwise it's gonna be tomorrow I guess.

Man, I got tired of breeding for HA female scorbunny for hours so I thought I'd try something different. In that entire time only one female scorbunny hatched (non HA).
I now got HA scorbunny with egg moves in like 20-30 mins xD

So i used that one female non HA scorbuny to egg move breed all the egg moves onto more male scorbunnies (offspring). Then deleted all but 1 move at the poke center move guy. Bred it again with the male scorbunnies, only once. Deleted remaining move, bred with the remaining scorbunnyb that knew an egg move. Then put the female non HA scorbunny that now knows 4 egg moves in the daycar with the male HA scorbunny with all but 1 moves deleted. Bred once. Pulled male out again, deleted remaining non egg move, put it back in. Voila, I now haz 4 egg move HA scorbunny xD

The key here being that when mons are bred with the same exact species, any empty moves on a parent get filled up with moves from the other parent (and since the other parent only knows egg moves...) . Should've just done this from the start I guess xD

also yes you can ofc keep a copy of the HA marshtomp /sceptile caught with those balls.

I have HA buneary already, I intend to upgrade it at some point into a love ball, so it's on my to do list lol (kinda far down on it though atm =p ). You'd save me time if you breed me HA love ball buneary.

I got a HA heavy ball cufant and HA love ball cutiefly (both with max egg moves) standing by now, holding a friend and lure ball. More leftovers from batch breeding, but you might have a use for em.
The HA fomatis (holding fast ball) is in a heal ball though, but it does have its egg moves too.

If you use them to catch HA swampert and sceptile (looking at that list, only the final evolutions of the hoen starters have HA), I guess I could give you a lure and friend ball. Though I guess you can also catch a grovyle and combuskn with them, since you already have HA ones. And then rebreed it together.
My attention is spread rather thin, too much to do, too little time xD

Idk if dynamax adventure pokemon have guaranteed HA (only done it once so far, got an HA magmar from it), if so I might hunt for mudkip (if yours isn't in a special ball) and treecko and try and catch em in special balls.

You basically saved me a fast ball anyway, I was gonna use one on torchic if I ever get around to hunting the hoenn starters xD

rototiller & stealth rock are gen 6 egg moves for onix, but not in gen 8. I havent tried transfering ones that knew those, but yes they shouldnt be inheritable as egg moves in gen 8. But, they will be unusable moves for onix in gen 8 anyway.

The egg moves I really wanted on it didnt carry over from gen to gen so idk (like rototiller).
I already have a HA onix with 4 egg moves atm, guess I'll just see what you send over and decide which one I go with =p
