  • I have never used Super Training.
I have used hordes or specific pokemon for the EVs I wanted.
I also always kept it simple and probably wasted a few EVs.
Like I'd go after Spec Attack until I knew that I had over 252 or 254 or whatever. It would be 2 or 4 wasted because EVs only make a difference when it's a multiple of 4. It you go over but don't make the next multiple it doesn't change from the last multiple of 4 you gained.
That was probably a very confusing explanation.
Then go get whatever the second stat I want to strengthen with EVs usually HP or Speed. Then I repeat for that one.
    That didn't take long.
I knew you would have one in there with the parents you had in Day Care and that many offspring
    Ooops!
    My bad.

You know those little symbols at the bottom of the summary?
The heart, star and I can't remember what else...there are 6 of them.
A lot of player use those to mark 31 IV.
The first one, a circle = 31 HP
    The 2nd a triangle = 31 Attack
    the 3rd a square = 31 defense
    the 4th a heart = 31 special attack
    the 5th a star = 31 special defense
    the 6th a diamond = 31 speed
To mark just touch the symbol you want with the stylus. If you get the wrong one just touch it again.
I have only gotten 1 or 2 6 IV Pokemon.
I'm usually happy with a 5 either missing attack or special attack.
But you have to decide if it's worth your time.
    Migraine finally gone.
    I warned you...

My game is testing my patience too.
It gave me a shiny Drifloon.
More walking around the same patch of grass...
The one that isn't difficult just very time consuming to get.
I know that this isn't absolutely true but if you hatch enough you will get one or at least the odds favor that.
The odds for each individual are miserably small but as you increase the number of individuals the odds are that you you will get that unlikely one.
Not much encouragement when your the one doing the hatching...
That's about the size of it.
Yes super training adds EVs if you like the mini games.
You also have to decide what EVs to add to because you can't max out all of them.
There is a cap, 508 or something
I agree but for what ever reason Game Freak decided to do things this way.
I mean I'm still looking for AZ's Eternal Floette.
Then there is Volcanion or how ever you spell it that we haven't heard anything solid about.
Hooray closer to a complete dex.
There are some I dislike more.
Like ones that use substitute which you break and they switch out for something else.
    Thanks...
After I got so far it felt like quitting would have wasted the time spent so far.
    Yep!
    But it is not quick.
I hope this isn't another 600+ hour hunt like Skiddo.
(I got 2 shiny Panchams, 3 shiny Scaggy, a shiny Abra, 2 shiny Bunelby and I think 1 or 2 others before I got my shiny Skiddo.)

I expect it'll be another 30 hours before I see my next shiny but who knows...
    I'm a little disappointed.
I wanted a shiny Inkay and a shiny Mienfoo showed up.
More time on route 8 or ... use a regular Inkay.
I think more time on route 8.
