I'll use an example. For my Volcarona, I EV'd it in Speed/Special Attack/HP first. For Speed, I gave it 10 Carbos. That's 100 EVs. Then I gave it Pokerus, a Power Anklet, and battled Basculin. That's (2EVs+4 from Anklet)*2 due to Pokerus, so each Basculin gave 12 EVs in Speed. I'd switch...

100 hours? In Black/White, it probably took me 50 hours to raise nine Pokemon to level 100. Maybe even less.

How would that work though? "Oh he's no longer hurt super-effectively by flying-type moves." I'll say this though...three fire/fighting types that evolve from starters in a row has gotten really played out.

First shiny was in Gold, which was an Unown. The last shiny I caught was in Sapphire. It was a Psyduck. I kept it as a Psyduck because it stays blue as a Golduck. I migrated him to my Diamond and then to my Black.

Does a Pokemon only gain EVs when they're in battle? What would happen if I gave a Charmander an Exp Share but I didn't switch him into battle at all?
