Yes you can :P Just play the Song of Time backwards. You can also fast forward 12 hours at a time if you play its notes double.

Dodongo's Cavern x.o I don't like it because it's kinda tedious, and I'm always eager to play as an adult since the temples are much more amazing.

And SS looks like it's gonna be fun. I'm expecting it to be much better than TP... there's so many things about that one I didn't like. Regardless, it's still an awesome Zelda game!

The time limit is not harsh at all if you slow it down playing the Inverted Song of Time. It's really fun to see stuff as it changes throughout the three days and you just have to return to the first day every now and then.

And yeah... While I think Wind Waker is the best to start with (easier difficulty, eye-candy, and extremely awesome) if you want to beat Majora's Mask you should start with Ocarina of Time. It's pretty much the quintessential 3D Zelda game (the quintessential in general being A Link To The Past IMO).

All the Zelda Timeline stuff is simple enough if you don't get too passionate. Many people assume too much stuff and turn it into a fan-fic. There is a timeline, but I think it's much more loose than many people think it is.

And Majora's Mask is amazing because of the depth of story and character development. It touches themes that as a kid I couldn't even begin to understand. It's about death, suffering... friendship. It's like a Zelda novel!

And that's a crime. You should definitely start beating one. I reccomend Wind Waker, it's pretty lively. The N64 ones are the best after that. Then if you're enjoying it, you'll appreciate the SNES and then the Gameboy and NES ones immensely. :P
