Ok! It's about cat's that live in different clans, and they each get there territory. Here's a link for a map of the territory. They call humand two legs, cars, tractors ect monster's, summer is called Green leaf, roads are Thunder paths, pet cat's they call kittypet's and they call houses two leg nests. The books are mostly about Thunderclan, there are diferent stages in the clan. There's the leader, seputy which will become the leader when the leader lost his/her 9 lives (only leader's get 9 lives), elder's which are warrior's who retired, warriors are the cat's that fight and stuff, apprentices which are kit's who became 6 moons and they get a warrior mentor and leanr to hunt and fight ect. Queens, which make kit's, the medican cat's are the healer's and use herbs to heal injured cats, and kit's, aka kittens which stay in the nursery until there apprenticed. Here's a link to see all the cat's from the different books. The cat's do allot of things, in the first set of series it's about a kittypet called Rust that joins thunderclan, and Tigerstar which is a bad cat. Tigerstar killed cat's for no reason, once he killed a cat to use as bait to lure in dogs to the thunderclan camp. (he wanted to become leader, but another cat killed him) He had three kit's, Bramble claw, tawnypelt and Hawkfrost, the next series (the new prophecy) is about Brambleclaw. He goes on a journey with other cat's including my fave cat from thunderclan Squirrelflight when she was a apprentice. And the next series is about Squirrelflight and Brambleslaw's kit's Hollypaw, Jaypaw and Lion paw. It's rlly hard to explain, but if u wan;t more detail go to this link. The cat's also follow the Warrior code, and all cat's that die go to Starclan which is there warrior ancestors. And the medican cat's get dreams from them at times and they go to the moonpool every half moon(i think) to speak with them. And at every full moon they all go to a island and have a gathering, there the leader's speak about everything that's going on in the clan n'all. Hope it helps. :)
