  • Yes, and the books he chooses to read are hilarious. They have titles like "Dirty, Flirty," and "When the Lights Go Out." He's too funny. And you never see the lower half of his face. The only time he took his ninja-wrap off, it was offscreen.
Sorry, Naruto joke. He's a super-experienced ninja who has a habit of standing in battle reading a 'dodgy' book with one hand while fighting with the other.
True that. It's just a useful tool, that's all. Ninja are acutely aware of their environment at all times - Kakashi-sensei, what the hell are you reading?
I was just gonna link you to it, but you ninja'd me. lol. Damn, boy, I posted that thing, what, twenty seconds ago? Were you sitting there F5ing the WL or something?
S'OK. I'm just about to post a Shattered preview in the Writer's Lounge, btw. It's a teaser you haven't seen yet, so give it a look if you like.

Oh, and I am loving not doing the whole 'tree professor who sends lone ten-year-olds into the wild' thing. It's so fresh!
All you need is the patience to go through and change the colour of each letter one at a time. I swear, if I had to do that via BBCode, I would commit suicide.
Sorry. Ur postcount decieveth me. Anyway, PC Family is just a thing that some people choose to do where they assign each other family titles and stick each other in their sigs. Look at ~KitsuneKat~'s signature for a good example.
    Archangel Valeria. XD

I was just in a random mood that day, I suppose. By the way, I should add you to my PC family. What would you say?
Scrolling down my profile page, I see nothing but smileys @_@.
And yes, it's an interesting point. People like having power over others, and if they lose their power over themselves, they react negatively. I plan to exploit this to its full potential in Shattered. It starts off as 'beat the gym leaders with my 1337 pokeyman' sort of thing (in the loosest sense of the term. My syntax is better than that, and it's nowhere near as stereotypical), but quickly turns nasty. Do you want me to PM you a bit? A sort of 'advance screening', if you will?
Yet people get annoyed if you put spoilers without a spoiler tag. Even if they would have read it anyway. I suppose people just like to have power over things. *pets*
I reckon everyone reads spoilers, really. I'm planning to release it tomorrow afternoon, so keep an eye out for that from maybe four o'clock? I may well post it earlier, though. Then if I go on a weekly basis, that means I have the weekend to write a chapter, even if I did absolutely nothing during the week. I will probably also do more during the holidays.
I haven't finished it yet >_> It's particularly good how she has Mark get a bunch of rare/powerful Pokemon to start with without making him a Stu. It was that story which inspired me to be a better writer. I swear, I am so sticking with Shattered. If I don't post an update when I say I will (I plan on a weekly format), you have permission to hunt me down and whip me until I churn out another chapter.
That's great. I'm just trying to rope in potential readers ^_^ Some people I know will refuse point-blank to read a fic if it's an OT. I prefer to take things with an open mind. There are some excellent OTs out there - Dragonfree's 'The Quest for the Legends' (I think that's what it's called) is one, and I don't think English is even her first language!
