  • Eh, sorry with the rant... I'll stop and change topics.

Play any good games lately, or have you just been busy with creating yours?
I see... Well, admittedly, I have some ulterior motives for offering up my writing services... Artists on the other site I'm on like to charge commissions for their artwork. I have no means to pay nor the money to shell out for it to begin with. While I have found a few people who willingly do free art requests, the guys I really would like the best works from aren't offering them to anybody but friends... However, I've found a loophole: a lot of those same artists also do "art trades." But, my problem's been finding those who'll take a story as part of a trade instead of just regular art. It's been kind of a nightmare finding anyone to redraw some of my characters to begin with, and the few who said they would are currently backed up on requests (one partially being backed up on some requests I made, which I only did because he offered to take more after already doing one for me). While I'm sure some of the artists I'm following would do trades for stories, the ones I really was hoping to talk into them shot me down right away (in fact, one went so far as to insult me by telling me that "stories are completely unacceptable for trades! I want real art!" That one really hurt because I'm really proud of my writings).

As far as spriting goes...I've found it rather difficult to do. I've tried doing pixel art of my Fakemon on GIMP, but my things always turned out awful. In your case, I assume it's just not going well, right? :/ In any case, sorry to hear you're having a hard time with it.
Ah okay. Mmm, admittedly, I haven't been doing a lot of fiction writing lately...for myself anyways... I recently got into doing requests on an art site I'm on. I'm not overly popular, but I have been getting some work as a result. Really, I kind of started it because nobody seemed to do art/story requests much there. I've been getting a lot of good inspiration for ideas too as a result, though I'm kind of behind on things just a tad.
Very! Well, that's a full plotline in and of itself. Actually, WAIT! I remember that you started a fanfic to that effect on PokeBeach (albeit years ago now). Sad you never finished it. I thought it had a lot of real potential, but at least you're getting better use out of the idea as a game/hack.
Ah, sounds interesting. Um, oh, you never mentioned what the concept for your game was, iirc. Care to specify some details? Just curious.
Is that how you took it? *gasps and puts paws to his mouth* OMG, I'm so sorry. I was criticizing other people, not you! You have no idea how many people in my life act like they do a lot when I actually have to work my butt off for a living just to make ends meet. It had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with you! I'm totally shocked you even interpreted it like that. I'm sorry...I truly am...
Wow... I haven't said anything to you in over a month... Where has the time gone? How have you been?
Sure. You can use it. But some Shinies are there Unactual. So sad that I can't update them. But if you want I can send you my KALOS Pack including Cries, Icons <Some missing> And Sprites of All Kalos Pokemon. <With Actual Colours>
Been there, done that. Aside from moving family friends out of their homes/apartments into new ones, another part of my job often involves having to move furniture into different rooms just so I can work.
Yes, and it's very strenuous. Actually, it's not all muscle work. It's just as statistical as it is muscle-demanding. I actually have to calculate how much flooring I need for each area, remember what areas get what type of flooring (I generally put in carpet, but I sometimes have to put down vinyl and underlayment too), keep track of what color/pattern goes where, make sure the flooring it running all the same direction, make sure everything's running straight with the walls or at least have the appearance of doing so, make sure that the knap of the carpet brushes up towards the front of the house, make sure seams run together all the same direction, be careful when trimming carpet of excess waste and then tuck it to assure that it gives off the illusion of running right up to the baseboard/trim/wall, etc. There's actually a lot more than that, but I don't want to bore you with a full list.
No, not with my line of work. It's hard to actually describe what I do without visuals like this, and that doesn't really say much. I install flooring for a living and, though the process isn't complicated, no amount of explanation would fully capture what I actually do on the job. To most people, it just sounds like scuttling around on the floor when I actually am doing a lot of physical labor.
Find a tutorial on hexadecimal and read it. What I meant by D was hex value D or 0xD which is equal to decimal value 13.
Ah, right. Well, my case is actual work. I've been working full weeks again, as opposed to just a few days at a time. But, my stuff is labor intensive and I don't know if you'd understand it even if I explained it.
    No problem man :)
Luckily Pc is a very helpfull community, even if I didn't help you, Dark Sneasel was there helping you too
If it weren't for him either, some other person would. Enjoy your stay here in Pokecommunity ;)
