I like when my Pokemon follow me around like in Yellow and HeartGold/SoulSilver. I also like being able to complete the Pokedex without P2P trading and/or cheating. Finally, +1 for No Fakemon.

I was big into the TV series when I was a kid, so with Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and Charmander being the main Pokémon characters (and my four favourites in all of the games), I have to give my vote to the Charmander line of evolution. ...But if I could, I would obviously vote for Pikachu ;)
