Hack: Pokemon Johto Adventures (Or something - it takes place in Johto so that's the tentative name I've been using).
Hack of: Pokemon FireRed
Screenshots of what I've done so far:
Additional information: The hack fully takes place in Johto, with a few new areas and an expanded plot...
I don't know how you can say no to Mewtwo. Just so overpowered and it didn't look stupid, like most of the birds. The birds also had terrible movepools when you caught them, so that took the fun out of them for me.
As a child the Pokemon Mansion would confuse the heck out of me. It became especially enraging when those level 43 Raticates wouldn't let me run away and just take chunks of my HP away with Hyper Fang. Too much for my small child temper to handle.
Both Torchic and Mudkip made everything so easy, but they're both really fun. Treecko, on the other hand, made life miserable until Leaf Blade came along. So I'm going to have to go with Torchic.
I still don't understand Team Magma's hoods. It's so hot in their hideout anyway, I can't see how they can stand to wear them. Team Aqua, however, is dressed for success.
Yeah, most of Emerald's gym leaders. I think Emerald has the hardest gym leaders of any Pokemon game. But a lot of them still give me a ton of problems.
Like most other people, I prefer Emerald. The sprite animations, the Battle Frontier...It kept everything good from the previous two games and added some great new features.
Every new Pokemon game has this problem, and most people usually come around and get acquainted with the new Pokemon. Of course it's going to change each generation - it's how things evolve. I too think the new Pokemon and features look a bit weird, but I'm optimistic they'll grow on me like...
