  • Congratulations. I was just bored as hell, so I decided to dick around here. Nothing much else going on. I'd give you a prize, it's just that I don't have any.
Doesn't It Calculate Kills? It's Not...? You're Obtuse, Understand, Right? Maybe Obtuse Understands The Heavens. . .

    Go! Decipher my children!
Yeah, I was aware of those atrocities by Cook-Cook. His head is worth money, so there's that.

I don't think people would ever taste pleasant, so I always bypass the option.

As for explosives, they are always enjoyable. If I am in a corridor and being pursued, I run backwards and throw down mines everytime. It's like playing a one-sided game of frisbee and I always win.
Sounds like something Cook-Cook would say.

But no doubt, transforming your enemies into ash is satisfying.

Mother Deathclaw just taught me a harsh lesson... Better find my Alien Blaster.
I have been doing great. As for making things bleed, I have been turning people into bloody masses on New Vegas, so there's that.
I will not apologize, because this is incorrect. Human nature, just as the 'nature' of the bee, nature of the cat, crab, etc. persists. It's persisted throughout time. Human nature belies great violence. Massive rage and ultimate hate lies boiling just below the surface of 'human nature'. The will to fight this has obviously been lost. World Peace you say? It's been estimated that in the past 3400 years on this planet, mankind has only managed 268 years of peace collectively. That is less than 8%. 92% of humanity agrees that there needs to be blood.

There needs to be pain and suffering in this world, that is the modus operandi of the human genome. We need it to keep us going. We hate, we fear, we destroy. That is the way it has been, and the way it always will be. Stating that Capitalism itself has pushed this 'fad' . . . needless to say, Capitalism is far too young to have begun this massive spiral of self loathing. Take, for example, the monarchies of old. Was it not profitable and wise to kill another to maintain hold onto your shiny hat? What of Christian beliefs, in that all should be taken in and loved and cared for. . . except everyone else on the planet and their several thousand different belief systems. Kill all those guys, yeah. And the Pagans too.

Humans are nothing more than walking, talking animals. Maybe we're worse off for our advanced mind and ways of thinking. Rattlesnakes don't shoot each other over who's snake-ling is better at futbol.

I disposed of this, and decided not to post it. I hate to waste a good writ though. . .
Much appreciated! I have organized a wish list for the books that you have recommended, so as soon as everything is settled, then I will get started. I've been needing to get lost in something new, anyhow, and this seems perfect.

Of course, you would be the person that I would approach first if I have any questions. I'm never hesitant to ask, as I have insatiable curiosity.
Wow. Thanks a-plenty for this list. I will write everything down. Unfortunately, the nearest bookstore is 35 miles away. That's what happens when rednecks rule your town. :/ I mostly order my literature online and just have it shipped home, heh. It will potentially be a post-Christmas haul. I need to move and get my shelves set up first and foremost. Then my new immersion will begin, thanks to your help. I appreciate this. :)
    Hmm.

I am a huge fan of medieval fantasy and outlandish sci-fi. It's extremely broad, and quite general. I'm not picky with my literature as long as one of those two criteria are met. It makes choosing something specific quite difficult. I crave adventure, mythological beasts and reference, a terrifying enemy, massive stakes, and noble heroism.

My favorite series of all time is the Dragonlance Series, if that helps at all.
I most certainly will. Where do I start, though? What's first? I have a sharp memory, so I can remember it when I decide to get immersed. I'm sparing funds, as I am moving in a couple months, so it may be sometime thereafter when I get into it.
I still have much to read, clearly. I read in brief bits throughout the day, so it takes a while to finish a book.

I really like the concept of the Warhammer universe that you're telling me. I haven't been able to pick it up, but I have had a little bit of exposure here and there. You have me quite interested to tackle it myself.
