I think his sidekick should be an older guy, Zeke. Zeke should be wise, but sarcastic, and very skilled. He would have our version of Golurk. He has good skill, but he's not the best. Zeke is something like Matt's mentor: His father figure.

The king needs to have like an all powerful pokemon, like our equivelant of Garchomp or Dragonite that's really tough. There will have to be his own personal group, like his cabinet that each has a powerful pokemon as well. Do you think that he'll have other kingdoms allied with him?

So there's the king guy, who commands the dragon forces. Then there's the psychic guy, who is basically like a fugitive. He doesn't hate our main characters, but he doesn't fight with them. He fights for himself. Our main character wants to become the most powerful guy in the world, because let's face it, everyone wants to be the best. He has his friends that sign up with him.

I think that we should each head a different kingdom, like I rule the Water kingdom.

I'm thinking that we'll need to have like a resistance or something: People who don't have powerful weapons or anything, but there are a lot of them, and they want to be free.

That is the truth. I think we need to write out a plot line and such before we think about animation and concept art, though.

To be honest, I haven't worked with it before. However, I can come up with awesome story ideas and crazy plot twists.
