completing a pokedex is a monumental task, even with a link cable, back when I played this i was a lot younger and very incompetent, if I tryed now, considering in this game there is only 386, I might be able to do it in a few weeks, if I could find my old gba and link cable.

Wow, thats Amazing, amazing(ok... pun intended:p) It looks really cool, like, the nature aspect is so prominent, because nature is random and man, you really encapsulated that, this map is sooo good.

have thought about a primal dialga type thing, where like a normally good pokemon becomes corrupted? Say, a lucario, fierce looks cool and then at the end can be revealled to be not that bad of a pokemon.

I don't like how randoms can ring you at any time, that gets annoying, the verse seekeer was good for this, though the pokegear did have a nice interface.

I always use my starter on the way through the game, mostly because the end evolution looks really cool :p. But like totodile42, I usually change to other pokemon, unless I like my starters moveset, then I will continue to train it up.
