I'll be attending. I'm hoping I can remember and that I have enough teams to participate in the various tournaments. Still need to make a legit good team for PC OU.
From the few battles I've seen, Genesect is used primarily for scouting with U-turns. Even my dual screening Genesect carried U-turn. The other slots are special moves like Ice Beam, Bug Buzz, Flamethrower, etc. Download gives him a lot of raw power no matter what attack you choose as he can...
Yeah, I think we need to actually discuss the metagame here in the thread so people at least notice it. Talk about checks and stuff you've found.
One thing I've noticed is that Genesect DOES NOT make a good dual screener!
My teams grow like a tree from a small seed, in the form of my first team member. After my first member is built the way I like, I build something closely resembling that pokemon's strategy. The next poke I check to see between the two, what I would need in terms of typing or attacking prowess I...
I'm pretty sure everyone's fine with the idea of our own tier. I doubt that even the beginning phases of it will be a problem as we know that we can control whatever's giving us the most problems and that we can control what pokes get out of hand and throw back in pokes that have hard counters...
To answer your question
NO.
Everybody uses Blissey in competitive play and the ones who don't, understand how amazing it is. Tbh, I don't know why you would think people think it's not great.
It's very difficult to rate a team when we don't know anything beyond the team members.
Try to include Natures, Items, EVs, Movesets, and Abilities so we can help you much more efficiently.
I agree. Heck, it's more then likely that they wouldn't even go to the other chat just to be able to speak freely.
Community create a team is fun when you pit two teams against each other, each making their owns teams and such and then having a designated battler from each side duke it out to...
Your friend is most likely using a program called PokeGen or PokeSav. These are programs that work with Flashcards to edit the game's save data. The programs let you put in entirely new pokemon or edit your current pokemon down to a letter. You can change pretty much every aspect of your...
It's honestly no problem to me how I'm supposed to act to fit into a community. I join forums so I can meet people that share the same interests as me, such as Pokemon, and I can easily enjoy the company of a wide variety of people because I'm so used to a vast assortment of friends that I've...
My first experience with the community was through the server and I always try to base my attitude for the community I joined based on my first couple of impressions based on the community and I found an astronomical difference between the forums and the server.
On the server, my attitude is...
Kyurem @ Life Orb
Pressure
Timid
252 Sp. Atk
4 Sp. Def
252 Speed
Blizzard/Ice Beam
Draco Meteor
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball/Psychic/Hidden Power Electric
He takes neutral from Ice, but opens up a weakness to a good bit of your team being weak to Fighting
I'd recommend using Latias and then replace one of your pokes that's weak to Ice with something else. Togekiss or Ninjask are probably the ones you'll want to replace.
A standard Latias set
Latias @ Leftovers/Life Orb
Timid/Modest
Calm Mind
Recover
Psychic/Psyshock
Dragon Pulse/Hidden Power...
I typically choose Power over accuracy, but I'm running something like Nidoking then I try to be a bit more sparing. Blizzard/Fire Blast/Earth Power/Thunder would be horribly rage-inducing.
I always choose Focus Blast on Alakazam over Aura Sphere, though.
