Pearl and Amethyst are both jerks in my opinion. They've gotten better though, so I actually like them now (at least Pearl was in flashback there).

The episodes are AMAZING. Except for Rising Tides/Crashing Skies. The others are some of the best in the series.

Yeah, none of this makes sense to me. If Christians are saying that they are losing the right to practice or preach their religion over this, that's like if Shikh people were angry over all adult men not being forced into wearing turbans in this country. I find it weird.

Sadly, I think everyone who had been watching the court knew it couldn't pass in any more than a 5-4 majority, if it passed at all.

How will that sort of resistance translate to actions, in your opinion? Now that it's legalized, I can't think of much more than institutional prejudice and protests. What points did your family bring up? Did they did this ruling would affect them directly, somehow?

"End of the World..." "War on Christians..." I don't understand it when people say things like that. Bad things are happening all over the world, constantly (like our country's police brutality, which you mentioned). Why would marriage equality be so bad in comparison?

I understand. Honestly, I'm happy when anything good comes out of this country.

I was really surprised that it happened yesterday, but I guess I shouldn't have been, considering this is when all the tricky court rulings are dealt with.

I know that states will try to impose unreasonable tests and other boundaries in resistance. Also, justices Scalia and Roberts were really sore losers about this ruling, and this means that when one of the justices dies, it will be much harder for liberals to be appointed.

Overall, though, I'm really happy. I can't say I'm legitimately proud of my country very often, but this time I can!

It reminds me, I've been really annoyed that there are plenty of "Dark Lord" characters in fantasy, but I haven't seen any female characters who fit the bill for "Dark Lady." I have a list of traits to confirm whether a character is a Dark Lord or not, and I haven't found a woman who fits all of them.
