Oh, so it's for a specific class. That makes sense.
Wright had disagreements with later civil rights writers like James Baldwin (although Baldwin was also inspired by him and "got" his work), but Wright is totally worth reading. Most people start with his novel, but I say look at his autobiography, Black Boy. Read the edition that gets into Wright's involvement and later disillusionment with the US government and the Communist Party.
Wright's haiku is also easy to find online.
What was the test called, and what was it on? I haven't heard of a test like that.
My paper's on Richard Wright's haiku, since it's an Asian Poetry class. Most American critics don't take much interest in Wright's haiku, but they are amazingly good and I want them to get more attention.
So I was right! It was the SAT, then? I'm glad it was easy for you.
Look at me, stuck writing a term paper when I'm still in high school =_='
(Actually not that bad. It's kind of freeing).
Okay, nevermind that. Here's my new UU team (it's been working pretty well... test it with me later):
Mega Absol, Dusknoir, Roserade, Empoleon, Regice, and Claydol.
