  • I apparently missed you by just ten minutes this morning... I probably should've VMed you before posting in the thread.
I'd love to see a movie in one of those theaters. Our dollar theater never showed anything good, just things like Ice Age and various chick flicks. Nothing your next-door neighbor doesn't have on DVD.
I know, right? I enjoy the nostalgia, though. The commercials for those kinds of movies always excite the living daylights out of me (whatever those are), though I usually end up being disappointed.
I don't really have a weak stomach, and I'm fascinated at the absurd creativity some horror directors have. Of course, I'm a little demented. I prefer the feeling of being disturbed over plain grossed out/jumpy though, so I suppose I'd prefer old thrillers over any horror.
Where I used to live movies were $7. There was also "The Dollar Theater" that showed movies for $2.50. 8/
It's like the Blair Witch Project, but in a house. It had a few parts that would cause one to jump, but nothing tremendously frightening. To my surprise, there were people in the audience who were genuinely scared out of their mind, two girls were crying. Perhaps I've been desensitized by Alfred Hitchcock and Lucio Fulci, modern-day horror films aren't really doing it for me.
I haven't really been keeping up, but Jarmusch recently came out with The Limits of Control (recently as in several months ago), which I'd like to see...though I heard it was disappointing. Other than that, Where the Wild Things Are is coming out in a few days, I'm anxious to see how that turns out.
Haven't seen that one yet, I was young when I saw the first two...I can't recall how I felt about them. I hear there's no Schwarzenegger in the latest one :(
Eh, the last movie I saw was Paranormal Activity, which was totally over-hyped. I basically payed nine bucks to see a youtube video.
Heh, that's actually the part I'm most proud of. When I first started, I was trying to decide whether I would use Banette, Girafarig, or Beedrill. They all have features that stand out, so it's easy to compare the sizes of those features. When I set Banette at 140% on top of its back sprite and everything fit perfectly, I knew that I'd found what I was looking for.
Haha, poetically said. For me, objects just seem to get themselves out of place...after about a week, my room will be in shambles and I won't be able to recall how I've contributed.
That's how I am. I'd like to think my room is pretty inviting for one with so much junk.
Yes indeed. I enjoy a little bit of chaos and disorder every now and then, it seems to inspire my creativity.
I enjoy tiny rooms, I like for everything to be at my disposal. It must cause a bit of clutter though, is that bothersome for you?
I haven't developed a social life yet here, so my days aren't very eventful. I'm indulging in relaxation, though, so I'm ok with being dull. xD
I have a friend who visited Japan last year, he said the people were very rude and the room he stayed in was compact and uncomfortable. :/ I hope your experience has been more pleasant.
Your description of your daily life sounds pretty nice, and very similar to my own.
Agh, Texas is awful about that. Last week it was in the 90's, this week it's in the 60's. Just decide already, weather. (I'd prefer you to stay in the 60's, though.)
I'm curious to know what you do in Sapporo, are you with a group of people or anything? I'm not familiar with how studying abroad works.
Life is pretty enjoyable, as of late. I just came home from spending time with an old friend, which is pretty eventful since I've been somewhat reclusive for about a month.
How are things going in your neck of the woods?
Well, that's neat. I've heard about the luaus that take place there, sounds pretty entertaining.

Alrighty, talk to you soon :3
I can understand that. It is an uncomfortable situation, in retrospect I'm not so sure why I enjoy flying so much.
Wow, Hawaii...that sounds like a dream vacation. Which island did you visit?
What states have you been to? I've been to Colorado and Illinois, I'd love to venture outside of the country.
I really enjoy flying, which is funny because I'm pretty paranoid. I think I like flying because we used to fly to family in Illinois, so I get that nostalgic feeling. Sorry to hear that flying troubles you, I hope your ride back to the US is pleasant.
