I only wish to do some things that aren't easy only with these two things, generally more global Ctrl+F features(for text, resources, script at events, etc...) and other useful things like ability to create loops at musics only with the engine.
I've been playing Pokemon X for 3 months now. And weeks ago I began playing Yellow again, and wow it still is fun as heck, as it was way back like 14 years ago. It's interesting how the basic gameplay never changed much... So really, to get a taste of say X and Y, getting started with the...
I'll side with the plurality of other posters in this thread and contend that Gen III's the best (including the often overlooked spinoffs). The two surrounding gens, II and IV, are roughly tied for second place in my eyes.
The only game throughout the franchise that I cried for the intended purpose. Played through all of the series and I feel the second installment was the best out the series Sky/Darkness/Time. Maybe even the best out of the entire franchise for me, and it was something new.
On my first playthrough, the team that I had made for the Elite Four was certainly interesting to say the least. It consisted of Empoleon, Rapidash, Luxray, Graveler, a recently evolved Altaria and Giratina.
I miss the Battle frontier, Sinnoh underground, and some of the coolest cities like Snowpoint and Sunyshore and Hearthome. I've had some trouble living without the Poketch to use as a step counter, happiness checker, daycare egg watcher, and stats on your last received Pokemon and all sorts...
