    4th Gen Hardest Gym Leader?

I'm seven badges into the game right now, taking out Team Rocket in Goldenrod. So far, none of the gyms have been all that difficult, to be honest. Falkner was taken out by a Geodude that I had picked up on Route 46. Honestly, the Pidgeotto was a disappointment, since it no longer had...

    Dylan and Cole Sprouse Commercial.

Well, you know, they might actually play the series. My dad actually plays the games, and he loves them, but you'd never be able to tell. I mean, sure, they over-exaggerate the "ay" sound in Pokemon horribly, but, so does the narrator in some of the English dubs of the anime. I like the fact...

My HG team sucks. Any help please?!

I'd, personally, go with Snorlax. Tyranitar is a good Pokemon, but Sandstorm doesn't really do anything for your team, and the fact that Tyranitar calls in permanent sandstorm will wear down your team after a while. Snorlax can also either carry an immunity to being poisoned or a resistance to...

    Lapras vs Vaporeon

I'd go for Vaporeon. It's a great Pokemon, awesome attack sponge, and has pretty high Special Attack too, to boot. With a 130 HP/60 Def/95 SpDef defensive spread, it can withstand most attacks, and can easily retaliate with an attack off of its 110 base SpAtk.

    egg moves

You can breed Honchkrow and Staraptor, but you can't breed a Honchkrow and Staraptor for a Murkrow with Close Combat. Although, in Heart Gold and Soul Silver, you can breed a female Honchkrow and a male Staraptor and get a Murkrow with Brave Bird. Other moves Murkrow can learn from...

My HG team sucks. Any help please?!

Gyarados is a Flying-Water type, or Water-Flying, although the order of the types doesn't really matter. Yes, he's very similar to a dragon, and he can learn Dragon-type moves, but he's not a Dragon-Type Pokemon. And I was assuming that the original poster was knowledgeable in Pokemon because...

My HG team sucks. Any help please?!

I don't really see the point in your post. As you said in the beginning, this is in-game. That means that they most likely have it set to where they can switch after they KO a Pokemon. Unless the topic's creator has no idea about the typing chart, they'll most likely not keep Gyarados in on...

4th Gen What Did You Name You, Your Rival, and Your Pokemon?

I nicknamed myself Mr. Nub, my rival PooFace, and my starter PwnSnipe'd.

    Team HG

Except for, you know, his Pidgeotto... Like he said, if you're not too attached to that Venonat, I'd let it go. Honestly, there are much better Pokemon you can have than a Venonat. If you have a little time on your hands, you can Voltorb Flip for an Ekans or an Abra, or, hey, even a Dratini...

4th Gen Weirdly popular HGSS pokemon

You know, you're right. Everyone uses Heracross and Ampharos. It's mainly because of the nostalgia factor, like most others have said. I try to stay away from using those cliche Pokemon like that, because using Pokemon that aren't common is more fun for me. In my first runthrough, I used...

    Pokemon Worth Leveling?

Ignore the part about teaching Gyarados Thunderbolt; Gyarados' base Special Attack is a measly 60, whilst its base Attack stat is 125. I'd suggest raising your Red Gyarados to, as stated earlier, level 44, and give it Dragon Dance, Waterfall, Ice Fang, and whatever else you'd like (I taught...

    ★ Pokémon Claim Thread ★

Err... Hey. I'd like to claim... -Togekiss (unless I miscounted, there are only 9 people claiming it right now...) -Tangela -Politoed -Nidoking -Aipom. Thanks! :D

4th Gen What's Your Favourite Sinnoh Gym Leader?

Mine would definitely have to be Candice, since I had a "crush" on her when I first got Diamond, and the fact that she has a Glaceon in her Battleground Team.
