I've always wanted to try Nuclockes. However, I feel like I will end up being a person who enjoys watching them more than actively playing the challenge. I know I'll have a hard time with the permadeath for the Pokemon who faint which is why I haven't actually attempted one yet.

Have you tried Fantasy Name Generator's site? They have a spot under "Place Names" for City/Town names and you can get names based on types of areas. This one has random ancient Greek town names that might be helpful for you to find names that could fit your theme.

I use PokemonDB for the ease of looking up a Pokemon's information. I actually prefer Serebii's look to Bulbapedia so I tend to use Serebii more often when looking up items, abilities, or other miscellaneous Pokemon things.

Well my first thought is to say Totodile since he's my favorite Pokemon :D I don't think he'd be that great to have on my shoulder or even in my arms. I get more of a walk along with me vibe for Toto. It would be pretty fun to have an Aipom though for the shoulder spot!

I'm torn between Cyndaquil and Rowlet. I love Gen 2 the best, so would love to get to use Cyndaquil. However, I missed Rowlet's generation of Pokemon games so it might be nice to play with a starter I've never used before.

This looks really cool! I love all of the small details included like the Tauros in the Miltank farm area, and the battle going on with all of the onlookers. Makes me wish it was a real game map to play <3
