Honestly, muddy water was one of my favorites when playing Ruby. Mudkip was my starter, so when my Swampert learned it, I had never heard of the move before. It had that mysterious quality that ensures I will never forget it.

I believe I discovered the Regis' caves long before I knew what they were. Luckily I had my friend and Bulbapedia to help me solve their riddles. I gotta say, translating all that braille was the toughest part for sure.

I love the Battle Pyramid, because of Pyramid King Brandon, who I have a lot of respect for. However, I would have to say that my favorite facility is the Battle Pike. I find the luck aspect of it interesting, the outside design is really cool, and I'm also a big fan of Pike Queen Lucy.

My first shiny was a Golbat in HG, but my first (and only) shiny I've encountered in gen 3 was a Loudred. I tried to use it to calculate my secret i.d., and thus perform RNG manipulation, but I wasn't able to.

Wow, I didn't know there was a cap on the timer. Does the internal clock stop working at that point? I know what you mean, I'm working on getting all 4 trainer starts, but conquering the battle frontier is a huge pain in the butterfree.
