Well the only reason wolf link couldn't talk was because he was, well, Link. (Mute Protagonists are SO cliched) But The wolves can speak with what seems like telepathy.

Oh, here's a thought; What if this Twilit Wolf remained in Hyrule as a loyal Guardian to the Princess? Then, playing the Wolf, could either join the others, or remain beside the princess, simply over-viewing the quest, keeping her safe, and maybe, er, I suppose "Narrating" would be the right word... Actually, that does seem rather boring... I'm going to go with the story of "guarded the princess until the heroes leave on a quest"...

Oh, I forgot about them... Yeah I know the Koroks now, that's where you get the magic leaf in the game... Hm... Maybe I could have a role that is not like the usual ones...? Maybe like a Twilit Wolf (Like Link turns into in Twilight Princess) just without the human form?

Aww... Only Gorons and (assuming from the description) Deku are left...? Isn't there any space for Sheika or Twili? Or Zora?

Okay I can have Marek meet one of them probably the Zora near Lake Hylia while he's off tracking a bounty, I'll have the sample down by tomorrow after school.
