Never mind. It messed up again. I'm supposed to be getting my own laptop.

And I foresee being busy for longer yet. Fortunately my new computer should be coming in soon, and so I'll have easier internet access at least.

I'm honestly still trying to wrap my head around the concept of official writers stealing work. Anyways, I guess my understanding comes from being in slightly similar situations with people. People are just prone not to take critiques well.

Even the bit about despair? I mean, that was a little too dramatic, I think. In all seriousness though, I'd like to see it sometime (I think I already expressed this) and you know all that about 'you can do it'. x3

Well we were all very young too. Plus, it was awesome to watch their characters grow up with them. By the end of my time RPing with them we had all learned a lot about writing.

And to make it worse, it will come back again twelve months later.

Wait up. Official writers do it? Don't those same writers soon after go to court and get fined for copyright violations? Honestly, I don't know if having deep and complicated characters would be the best for her either from what you've described. Those types can easily turn into huge cliches if not carefully watched. Again, sorry. I know your pain all to well right now. (No Dickens, but horrible, terrible, nightmarish southern belles.)

I would give you a big long speech about how there is not hope only despair and that you should just do it, but I feel it would be both unnecessary and unhelpful. xD

Well I know one thing. I used to think that in order to contend with other people's characters that my own needed to have something very special about them. This was true to an extent, but only because everyone else was a sue in my old group of RPers.

Well I'm definitely not rushing it. I've been busy (still am a bit) for a while.

That sounds like a pretty nasty situation all together. I mean, stealing work? Isn't that one of the first things you're supposed to learn not to do? In any case, I don;t think simplicity is necessarily a bad thing, but if you overuse it as a writer it can be just as dull as a two page long sentence (ever had to read one of those books in school? I know I have.)

And so now you can remake this story into a glorious piece of work that will be praised for years to come, yes? xD

I wonder what goes through the heads of the creators when making those kinds of characters. I mean, I used to make terrible mary-sues once, but I can't, for the life of me, remember why I thought they were a good idea.

(I don't know, but I want it to go away. :c)

I judge how focused I am with how far I beat. At first, I was stuck on the first level, but then I started beating farther... until Pinky got me right when I was going to get the power pellet. @_@

Yay for multi-tasking to help me! I can tell it's helping, because I beat to, like the third or fourth level.

I'm going to be playing Pac-Man and listen to Buono to clear my head... It's worked before.
