Well, Sovereign's reign in the mountains was not something Vera knew as much about. After killing his father by accident when training, he left Draco Temple. Needing to prove himself, he challenged his mother for the second time. After some struggle, he managed to invoke his Outrage, and defeated her. However, filled with rage, he didn't stop at victory. He continued to attack until she was dead, and even then kept going. This is the source of his recognizable blood stains. Still feeling like it wasn't enough, he sought out more powerful opponents in the mountains. Eventually he reached a point where there was no other opponent who could match him, and he became the Alpha of the mountains. This time was spent in emptiness, feeling he had accomplished nothing, and feeling guilt for leaving the Temple. That's when Auron arrived and then you know about that stuff.

More than likely yeah. She is an educated individual after all, and would want to make sure that any information on him was accurate.

Basically a neuro implant that allows the user to basically connect their brain directly to the vehicle they are syncing. This allows the user to move the vehicle as if its an extension of their body (IE control purely with their brain). Allowing for more accurate movements and quicker reflexes (as the brain doesn't have to tell the hands/legs to do something then the arms/legs move controls tell the ship to react. Instead the brain tells the ship what to do.)

This enhancement tends to be physically seen by metal ports on the back of the head and/or temples where the user can literally plug into their ship.
