And the 'new users/welcome' section of the forum is there to welcome newly joined members. Its a good place to start if you've joined here recently. And you should change your post at the 'Hello xD' thread to sound more like you're welcoming the new member. Afterall, those posts are meant for welcoming new members and making them feel at home. mkay?

Take a look at the first post in the CSS thread. It has three links. One of the links contain basic CSS codes. You'll have to memorise it before going forward.

You can't keep a background image unless you've donated to PC or are a staff member here. :/
Even I would have loved to use custom backgrounds to make my profile livelier, but its not possible unless I become a supporter or a staff member(this one's highly unlikely! xD).

Its pretty easy to change the colours of your profile.
You can change the colours of your profile by using the change 'profile customisations' option in user CP. You can also click on the 'Customise profile' link that's situated here at your profile.

And I'll recommend that you take a look at the CSS thread in the 'Computers and Technology' section of PC. There's a sticky by the name of 'CSS Help and Disscussion'. You'll be able to learn the basics from there. Then, come to me if you need help. If I'm not able to help ya, I'll ask Jordan about it. He'll help me in helping you then. ;D

Well, its nice that you've changed your message at Jordan's profile. But Jordan doesn't accept random FRs. He'll accept your FR after you've chatted a bit with him. Even I talked with him before he accepted my FR.

CSS is kinda hard. You'll have to practise it to master it. Is that okay?

Use a UPS patcher for it. That might do it, I guess..

CSS is something that can be used to make one's signature beautiful. You can select the text 'theme' over the image in my signature because of CSS. And the cursor also turns into a crosshair once you hover your cursor over my signature because of CSS. I'm an amateaur in CSS. But we can do some great things with CSS. *nods*
