GengarNightmare's Heart Gold Playthrough!
Playtime 11:37. I’ve done quite a lot since my last update (I haven’t been near a computer in a few days).
Chapter 3: Union Cave, Slowpoke Well, and the Hive Badge!
Chapter 4: Heracross wins the Plain Badge!
Chapter 5: Ecruteak City! Home of the three...
GengarNightmare’s First Heart Gold Playthrough
Prologue:
Chapter 1: A new journey! Well, kind of new. XD
So far, I’ve obtained my starter, met with Mr. Pokemon, gave my testimony to the policeman looking for my rival (named him Silver), and made my way back to the pokemon center in...
He just says "Look at you, pretty good! Oh, but you should'nt try to scare people walking around looking like that, OK?"
And he's the only one there. :/
Quick question...
I want the "commemorative photo" of my team where your dressed in the rocket outfit. I have the outfit, I see the camera in the underground, but I don't know how to get the photo! Talking to the camera does nothing, and the only person in the underground right now is the guy...
Lol, I'm still getting used to being able to run without pressing B. I've been confused about where to place my right thumb, lmao! It now rests comfortably on the A button, but it took some adjustment. And I still sometimes hit X to open the menu. *facepalm*
Meh, not really. Not to say they aren't challenging, they just didn't suprise me that much.
-Faulkner's really easy now since you can catch mareep early on (that little patch of grass wasn't there before).
-Whitney can be taken care of with Will O' Wisp. TMs FTW!
-Bugsy's Sycther was pretty...
It's not the item that activates the event, it's whether the pokemon's catch data says "Had a fateful encounter at lv ??" or "Apparantely had a fateful encounter at lv ??"
You might try the help thread next time, tho.
*rolls eyes* Oh boy, here we go again...
Fixed.
I'm not saying that they should be called Legendary Dogs either, but even if we were to agree on Entei being a lion (>_<), Suicune looks completely different from both of them. Regardless, you can't really put them all in one category, so yeah...
Last I checked (maybe a few months ago?) all of my 2nd gen games still work, even my R/B/Y games. They've probably survived because I only played them during the time they were current, meaning as soon as 3rd gen came out, I hardly played them anymore. Besides, I've heard you can just take it...
It's a tie between Clair and Norman. In the old Silver and Gold, IIRC, there were no dragon types until after you beat Clair, so I usually had to level grind significantly (or use a legendary). And Norman's Slaking is just a beast.
Yeah, it's just one of those things you have to deal with. When I'm battling gym leaders (or some other "boss"), I just change up my strategy a little. For example, when their pokemon is in the red zone, rather than using a weak move for the kill, I'll still use my strongest attack knowing...
I'll be breeding quite a bit at first (the new HGSS breeding mechanics are niiiice!). I want to get that star for 100 wins in the Battle Tower, so yeah, lots of breeding. Along the way, I'll work on dex completion, Pokethlon stuff, ect. Eventually I'll settle down and enjoy the oldschool stuff...
Depends on the purpose of the team.
In-game (storyline):
I pick my favs! :D And I'm not ashamed to use legendaries, either. Lugia has already made the roster for my Soul Silver playthrough. Don't like it? Tough.
Battle Tower (or other Frontier facilities):
You have to have a strategy to...
