Yeah, that's been the general trend. ;; It's just that PC is a huge place. People don't really care about New Users / Welcome apart from the really dedicated and/or genuinely friendly people (like you!) who actually see more behind the new users aside from the usual aspiring hacker or someone who's just made an account to download a hack. I have to agree that even the simple act of acknowledging their existence through friendly chat goes a long way.

Aww man. I actually like math, so I kinda pity those guys. But I concede that it needs lots and lost of practice, plus a lot of patience from your part. I know you can get a good grade, though! You'll do great. :D Speaking of which, I'm not sure if I've asked you what your major was yet.
