Well, it started with me reading my chapter where Lisa takes on my Water gym leader for comparison, and I just kinda kept reading from there (this includes all the Sadie chapters :P) I did skim over some of the battles though, so I did cheat a bit lol

And for some reason the Water Gym battle in yours made me go back and read like the last 18 chapters of my own story lol

Yup, that pretty much defined my spring semester of my freshman year - we would have a quiz every week in my Math 108 (Calculus II) class, and at that time I still had to take "core curriculum" English/Literature classes, so I wasn't out of the woods yet as far as papers were concerned. But I didn't have to deal with family stuff because I was going to school about 800 miles away from home :P

LOL the memories. If you ever find time to take up spriting again, let me know... I'd like one of Lisa wearing her new white contest dress (that doubles as a bulletproof vest lol).

Okay, so I don't have to hunt down those artists and have them redo her hair xD

Now for some reason I want to do another Lisa & Sadie story :)

The convention was AWESOME! Two Leaf cosplayers (three if you count myself lol and I actually got a "twins" photo with one of them, which I had to run up and change my outfit for xD), a late night meet/chat session with two voice actors that went till 3:30 in the morning, me doing an air guitar solo during a video of the Sailor Moon opening credits, doing my first "amateur photoshoot" (meaning I didn't have an $800 camera and fancy photo equipment) and other fun things :P

I've certainly been there before - including missing meals and doing the "potato chips and a can of soda" meal substitute :P I feel like I should ask what type of work is keeping you busy? Is it papers, projects, computer programming assignments, or, like for me, is it 15 pages worth of math equations and proofs? Those aren't a lot of fun (since I'm not Lisa IRL xD) since they're just like a lengthy paper except you have to do them by hand and there's a lot of math symbols and Greek letters involved, which (a) I can't draw/write correctly to save my life and (b) confuse me as to what they're supposed to actually represent.

That's good to hear you got some free time on your birthday. Ironically, I spent the day with my family on your birthday as well :P They made their annual vacation trip south, arrived in town the night before, and we spent most of the 6th together.

I actually have no idea why they make her hair short. Here's the Sadie sprite you made way back in the day:

Classes on your birthday does kinda suck - did you do anything special after classes? For my birthday I always eat out somewhere semi-nice.

Thanks for the update! Remember I'll be away at an anime convention from Thursday afternoon till Sunday evening, so I won't be on very much in that timeframe (not that I'm on here a whole lot anyway, but even less than usual xD)

Oh yes, here's your belated birthday present! There's still a few things she has to fix (the brims on the hats, the style of Sadie's shoes, and Lisa's necklace) but so far it looks pretty good to me! What do you think?

How goes the chapter writing?

Happy New Year! I spent New Year's Eve with the local anime club. Which means the night was pretty crazy, in a good way :P

That's okay! You don't have to defeat them in the quickest nano second. xD It's not like they're going anywhere, well, until you finish with 'em, lol.

What do you think of the name Korrin (Cory or Kori for short) Dixon for a protagonist? I'll of course add fifty middle names for good measure. xD

Hey there, I'm still battling the cold, but...

I've submitted my request for the Lisa and Sadie picture, so progress is being made on that front :)

I think I've got my camera set up all right. Of course now I've got a cold :/

I'm just messing around with my new camera now, trying to get the right settings on it before my next convention in January. My old camera kept taking blurry and/or dark pictures, and it really sucked when they turned out both blurry and dark :/

Thanks for letting me know - so the end is finally near (at least for a couple weeks anyway). Hopefully it's enough time to get at least one chapter out and maybe a start on a second :P

Well, that's a good thing :P School just seems to drag on and on, and finals week is always a killer. I'm looking forward to seeing the new chapters, it feels like it's been forever xD

Sorry, no updates yet. Both artists that I'm considering asking to draw it are currently swamped with other requests so I have to wait my turn. One thinks they'll be free in December while the other won't be till after the first of the year. (At least it gives me a chance to save up the money to pay them for the drawings lol) I haven't forgotten about it though, as I'm looking forward to the picture too :)

Of course, the ultimate dream team would be Lisa, Sadie, and Leaf :P

This past week has been hell for me since the fire alarms keep going off - EIGHT times last week, nearly all of them in the middle of the night. So I'm tired and not happy with whatever or whoever is setting them off. But other than that, and the fact that it's suddenly turned VERY cold, things are going alright.

Well, hopefully everything is going well for you, aside from being swamped with school that is :P
