All right... at the very least you'll get to see which character's presence in that game, and which other, far superior character's absence in that game inspired my recent fan fiction. Yeah, last thing I did with Platinum was a battle at an anime convention back in April.

BTW, I read the chapter snippet, and I think it looks good... adds a little bit of extra emotional punch to what you had before... but I'll save those comments for my actual review.

Well, I'll be totally honest about HG/SS... you're not missing much. They even fall short of Crystal, which was released nearly a decade before them and for a long-obsolete system. I ended up selling my copy off because I got sick of playing it.

Then again, you're not missing much by not getting the B/W games either... Platinum was really the last good Pokemon game.
