  • Hi pal, I know you dont know me but I am wandering if you can help me?

Have you ever played the hack, Pokemon Sienna?
You are not listening. It isn't a part of making tiles... You need to understand something. Paint allows you to recolour things too, changing their colour. here is a tool in there called Eyedropper (icon looks like a tube thing). Using this then clicking a colour makes your brush tool use that colour.

Your problem is 2 things - lack of understanding, but also lack of caring, as if you really did care to learn, you would question what I said more than once, without giving up.
Open the Tileset and your tile in Paint. Then, copy and paste the new tile over the old one.

Then recolour the new tile to fit the pallette of the Tileset.
Right, go to "Picture" - "Save Tileset 0". This saves the tileset as a bitmap, so you can open it in Paint and edit it.
OK, this is where I explain what everything is. The first big box with tiles (the left one) is what Advance Map uses to make maps, the middle box is the actual tileset. The dropdown menu above it (saying Pallette0 or whatever number) is used to select the pallette the tiles use. Find the grass tile in the middle box, and select the right pallette for it from the dropdown menu.
    Interesting, that's good.

Right, to begin, you need to open that up. We will begin with a basic ground tile (short grass), OK?
No, in fact I encourage it completely, as ROM Bases are meant to be built off of.

So, what exactly do you need help with? Which part, or from the beginning?
about the level 40 pokmn. you're not supposed to go that way after the first gym. You supposed to head south through the canyon and find the Sinjoh Ruins, (city with bunch of snow if not labeled). The second gym is THERE. The path you were going leads to a dead end at the southern tip of Sinnoh.
It may be important later in the game, but not in the beginning. After the Second gym, you head south and board the SS. Anne to get Cut from the Captain.

Then you head all the way back to Umber Town and you can cut the little tree blocking the southern route out of Umber Town.

    Hope this helps
