I...suppose I sort of know what you mean. My cousin died in a car crash about 5 years ago. Even though I wasn't incredibly close to her, it really hit me when we went to the wake. It's an emotional time when a family member dies, especially at a young age. Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with the way you're reacting. It just hasn't settled in yet...=/

I know exactly what you mean, someone I used to be friends with killed himself, and that was almost 5 or so months ago and I still haven't gotten my head around it, even if he hadn't spoke for a couple of years. and you were close with your cousin! and haha, that's cool that someone in your family was an anime fan too. Just keep remembering the good times :)

Wooow, don't blame you for being saddened by that..anything like that is shocking and will take a bit to sink in, so no you're not a horrible person. you're responding like a completly normal person! it takes people different times to be affected by stuff like that. but hopefully your family will do something special for your birthday anyway (because 18 is important) once that blows over a bit. and that's so sad, I wish your family well~!
