Considering they are both flying units, with Sonatina flying on her wyvern for fun and Maxwell flying on his Pegasus when training, they could know each other already, or at least they could have seen each other before while in the skies.

Although with her minimum speaking Maxwell would be doing most talking between the two xD Alas, they could get along pretty well, I think?

Honestly, I could only see their relationship as awkward. The lack of consistent speech from Sonatina mixed with Wayra's tribal thinking would be interesting. I could see Wayra being intrigued by Sonatina's illness, as he likes to understand how things work. One thing I personally can't answer is how Sonatina would react to Wayra's dark magic. Anything else you can think of?

i hadn't really thought about it, but i figured i'd have Hazel travel by herself, seeing as how her Sableye is the only Kingdom of the Skies Pokémon that can't fly or levitate. :P

Hmm, good question. Sirilia is fairly well known, correct? With Melisandra being a scholar and student of Warcraft, I would assume Melisandra would probably know of Sirilia's reputation. Melisandra herself is not exceedingly well known. She is kind of an outcast among the other maesters and doesn't make many public appearances in her station. How about Melisandra and Sirilia can meet, with Melisandra having just the slightest advantage of whom the other is? :)

Make it more appealing, I suppose. Most people will judge your RP from the first post. Basically, make it look cool, if it isn't already, and possibly make the plot or whatever you've decided to include sound more interesting. However, don't overdo it with pictures/graphics because those can be misinterpreted as a way to cover up bad writing.

Well, hmm, if we want something sorta new to the RP we should do a Conquest style. Conquest is technically PMD, but it has the abilities and other stuff. :] Of course, PMD's pretty good too. xD
