That's okay. I did, however, finish writing my review for your game, though, so I feel accomplished now.

Phew, I think by staying away I made it better. I wrote a Letter from the Editor that will make people envious. However, I still don't know how long my 'net will last from here, so I'll cut to the chase:

Use shades of gray. A very light shade of gray for the inside of the boxes,
with a gradient black (or dark gray) in kind of an upside-down L-shape like the diagram below:

WAIT...that's good. Some nerdy scientist dude who talks in big words could, perhaps, at some point, modify your Itemfinder to specifically search for radioctive material...maybe you have to do a mini quest for him like find different pkmn/berries/something-a scavenger hunt sorta thing...

Then what IS its purpose? As of right now, it seems to lack one...I'm not saying make it a radiation detector; I'm saying give it the added bonus of that, or make is something that is customisable to the point where the Professor or someone hacks it into there to aid you. A radiation detector IS sort of a given...

It doesn't -have- to serve as the menu, but giving it some flavour never hurts...*thinking*...duh, what about a Radiation Detector? I'll bet you could easily pull it off with Tetris-esque blocks on small sections of the region map that act as an Itemfinder of sorts for U-DNA-infected pkmn/things and natural Uranium deposits? It could set off danger warnings on the OW screen if you're in a dangerous area, too...[/brainstorming]

EDIT: See, with that idea, for example, it gives you a reason to have a pkpod instead of, for example, a pkgear ebcause it has an altenrate function that can aid you.

...yeah, but does it do anything? Can you give it some sort of pizzazz? Wait, why do you have it anyways? Do everyone have 'em? Could they act as sorta IDs too and replace trainer cards but with more info...?

What exactly IS a pkpod? Is it a little green thing you hold in your hand or something? Seems...forced...
