Hehe. I see what you mean. But I don't have anything to do with the fairgoers. People, in my experience, tend to be stupid anyway. I never really bother with talking to random people. Except when I'm waiting in a line, if they seem nice (or as bored as I am, or both).
I can't go on rides when it's hot, though, or if I'm too tired or haven't eaten (those tend to be the times when I actually get motion-sick). But I'm a sucker for cute and fluffy things, so some of the merchandise and prizes... ^^"
I still wish we'd had the money for me to get one of the fluffy, hot-pink hats I saw.
The noise, though... didn't really bother me. Not that I liked it, I just didn't care. I did, however, walk myself out, and my stomach started to feel funny, probably from not having enough to drink in the heat. I'm not very fit and I don't take hot weather very well - it saps all my energy away.
Nonetheless (when you get out of the house as little as I do), even with all the difficulties that come with it, the fair still manages to be a fun time. I guess you could say I'm starved for variety.
